Date: Jan 30, 2011 at 11:00 PM@David Are you kidding? That was actually a good surprise for a change. About time someone new, who’s good in the ring, and who has a good gimmick won the Royal Rumble for a change.
For the diva match, everyone don’t even get me started with that. It’s clear that FCW has the better Diva’s champion.

Date: Jan 30, 2011 at 11:04 PMThe Royal Rumble ppv isn’t about the other matches. It’s only about the Royal Rumble match and it was good. I was sad to see booker t come and go so quickly but it was good to see him. Diesel wasn’t as much of an asset to the match as I would have hoped. But I wouldn’t mind seeing one more Nash vs Big Show go. All in all a decent ppv and I’m glad Del Rio won.

Com’on Vince!! The pop John Morrison got and performance he gave should qualify and solidify a spot as a future WWE or World Champion.

WWE is a joke.
Just watch real fighters fight in the UFC or Strikeforce. A MILLION TIMES more entertaining than what the WWE or TNA can put together. WRESTLING IS OFFICALLY DEAD TO ME

Date: Jan 30, 2011 at 11:21 PMwow a nooby winning the rumble? WTF is wrong with wwe. Punk or even Barret should have won it, instead of Alberto. I understand he made a name for himself outside the wwe but he has yet to prove himself worthy of a title shot at wrestlefreakingmania.

This guy called me an idiot and asked me what I was smoking. Now who looks like an idiot? I hope you stumble upon this somehow so you can eat your words. Great ppv and congrats to del rio. P.s. Rich I smoked bud before this ppv and got weak on how big an idiot you are… Christian will win ha ha ha ha ha… Your an idiot, but you already know that…

Date: Jan 30, 2011 at 11:29 PMonce again the rumble winner will NOT main event WM. With 2 champs does it even matter who wins the rumble. Cena is still main eventing against the Miz @ WM

Date: Jan 30, 2011 at 11:36 PM@Jeff I know. How dare the WWE put in a new fresh face who hasn’t been in the company in over a year to win the Royal Rumble. How dare they did it back in 1993 even with a newcomer by the name of Yokozuna.

Well Yokozuna was an even worst choice than del rio. wwe should learn from their mistakes.

Agreed. Just because wwe made that mistake in 1993 doesn’t mean that it is ok to do it again this year. At least del rio is better in the ring than Yokozuna but in my opinion he should have won it next year. Now it is too soon. I guess we will just have to wait and find out.

Date: Jan 31, 2011 at 12:14 AMWow…Epic PPV with Booker T and Nash returning…But Alberto del rio winning? Jesus christ. He’s a nobody. There are way more deserving wrestlers in WWE that aren’t being pushed right now that deserve it WAY more than Alberto. Pathetic.

Date: Jan 31, 2011 at 1:16 AMI wished Morrison would’ve won, but I saw Del Rio winning. SD needs top heels right now, and Del Rio is in the best position to become that top guy. People have said the same thing about a lot of superstars and they went on to bigger and better things. Let him get his run in and then see how good he is. I expect Morrison to win Money in the Bank and then get his opportunity there.

Date: Jan 31, 2011 at 7:32 AMRoyal Rumble, Royal Rumble! Best PPV in 5 years excluding Wrestlemania 24, 26 and 27…..shock value of the PPV was off the charts! Booker T and Nash survived as long as they needed too (considering the short time to get these guys to agree to return.) It’s just great to see their comebacks and that they can still perform in the ring. Alberto Del Rip Off won the Royal Rumble and deservingly so by WWE standards. Guess I don’t see what the WWE sees in this character right now but I do see his future potential just not now. Actually if I were a WWE writer, Diesel would have been number 40……won the Rumble and went to Wrestlemania and faced Undertaker in a rematch of Wrestlemania 12 except this time Diesel sends Undertaker packing for retirement. Better storyline plus give Del Rio time to become a true superstar. You see what has happened to Sheamus with quick success that isn’t deserved just yet……now he barely dominates, can’t fight a true champion worth anything and honestly his gimmick is better than The Miz but The Miz has had a longer title run than Sheamus ever had LMAO! CM Punk for real, for real, should have lasted throughout the whole 40 men if the WWE plan on giving him a push like they have been, plus he is a better microphone wizard and a technician in the ring. He lasted the longest but that means nothing when it comes to headlining Wrestlemania! I’m sure there’s nore to come though and with that said here comes the road to Wrestlemania! Peace KGM

Date: Jan 31, 2011 at 6:37 PMI,m Glad Del Rio won, it is about time that the WWE is giving the new guys a chance to step up. He has made a name for himself in mere months and now has the chance to be a top player. I just hope he puts on the show of his life at WM. To all the people on here complaining, would you have rather Cens win again and headline WM again…we have all been there before to many times in my opinion.
