Spoilers WWE SmackDown Tapings – March 12th

Dark Match:

* Jimmy Wang Yang defeated Tyler Reks

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* The family of Rey Mysterio come out with him and they sing happy birthday to his daughter. CM Punk and friends come out to cut a promo. They issue a challenge to Rey for tonight and WrestleMania. Rey also had Eddie Guerrero’s son with him. Punk sang happy birthday also to Mysterio’s daughter and it was very creepy.

* R-Truth defeated The Miz after Daniel Bryan, who was at ringside, pushed Miz’s feet off the ropes when he was trying to get a pin. David Otunga was also at ringside.

* Backstage with Drew McIntyre and Teddy Long. Vince McMahon has wiped last week’s loss away like before. Vince picked Drew’s opponent tonight. Winner will get a spot in MITB and be the IC Champion.

* Drew McIntyre defeats a local wrestler named Adam Bold. Drew earns a spot in Money in the Bank and retains his IC Title.

* Big Show defeated John Morrison with the knockout punch.

* Backstage segment with Tiffany and Vickie Guerrero. Vickie makes Tiffany vs. Michelle McCool for tonight.

* Cryme Tyme vs. The Hart Dynasty ends in a no contest when The Undertaker comes out and lays all four out with his trademark moves. Taker puts the Hell’s Gate on JTG.

* Tiffany defeats Michelle McCool by DQ when Vickie Guerrero interferes on the outside. Tiffany gets triple teamed when Beth Phoenix comes out to save her. Beth is alone in the ring with Vickie and hits a big clothesline. Layla and McCool pull Vickie to safety to end a good segment for the Divas that the crowd was into.

* Kane vs. Luke Gallows goes to a no contest when CM Punk comes out and hits the GTS on Kane. He had to re-do it after botching the first. Rey Mysterio came down and chased Punk to the back.

* The ring is setup for the Highlight Reel with Chris Jericho. His guest Edge comes out and they cut promos. Jericho said he knows Edge is still hurt and he’s going to put him out of action. Jericho hit Edge with the mic. Edge went for a spear but got hit by the World Title. Jericho starts yelling “Spear!” at Edge while he’s down.

9 “superstars” in the money in the bank? Why? Vince throwing his weight as usual. Shelton won’t win even though ge deserves to. He’ll never out christan over. So his heel prodigy will take the cake. McFag strikes again

Wouldnt it be something if Christian DOES win Money In the Bank….and then cashes it in against his own ‘brother’ Edge later that night after Edge defeats Jericho to win the title.

WOOOOOO!!!! YAY!!!! im soo glad beth is finally a babyface. nice to know tiffany is now on smackdown and not back in fcw. glad shes wrestling too.. smackdown needed more faces after maria’s release.. especially with mickie temporarily injured. wish savannah would be a wrestler instead of a ring announcer.. believe it or not she is actually a very good wrestler.

wtf, i fkn knew it, the IC title wont be on the line again. Is there a way for us fans to make vince come to senses and understand that the US and IC titles r important to us. I so much miss the days when the IC title match could main event Summerslam, or when it did have rivalries related to it. F*ck, am so pissed of, if McIntyre is gonna win the MITB (i wish it is Christian, but i doubt it), then give the title to a mid carder an make em defend it at mania. I still remember Regal vs Jericho, why not give it to Koslov and make em defend it against Jackson or Regal. F*************************ck….. am so pisssed of right now….. and where da hell is Koffi……

In a few years the Miz will have far more accolades than r-twoof. I can’t believe the miz got jobbed to him. What a disaster.
Taker laying out all those wrestlers and applying hell’s gate would be a nice sight to see.
I can’t see anyone else other than McIntyre or Christian winning mitb. C’mon we are talking about world title contenders here.

Somebody side the IC title was not defened for the past couple of years. Clearly this show not everybody on the internet really watches the WWE becuase if they did they would have seen that the IC title was defended at last year Wrestlmania.
Me it makes sense to put Drew in MIB because the guy is that good.

Since both Taker and Michaels are going on vacation after WM, then I would suspect that Michaels looses once again. Taker is going on retirement after this year, but I don’t know about Michaels. It could go either way. I would have liked to see Taker’s streak lost to his brother though.
McIntyre will NOT win the MITB. If he does, then there is no real storyline there. Good chance that either Christian will to up the Edge storyline, or Shelton finally gets his chance.
Eddie does NOT have a son, more storyline.
Taker took out JTG because he might be acting in the new Conan movie, so this could be his “out”.
WWE has always been pg-13, there is no PG about violence, scantilly clad women and more violence. With a bit of cussing as well. This is NOT Disney Vince, quit trying to make it so.

Nicholas G, i complained about the title not being defended, and i did see las years Wrestlemania, and that title defence sucked azz…. it was funny, but it wasnt a good match, heck it wasnt even a match. What i try to say is that we dont see a match like Razor vs Michaels or Y2J vs Regal,Tito Santana vs Michaels,Savage vs Steamboat and i really miss that, the excitement that this title could bring if used correctly.

If memory serves me correct, when they mention “Eddie’s Son” they could be talking about Dominick since when they had that storyline a few years back it was said that Dominick was Eddie’s “kayfabe” son….dunno why they would be bringing that up again though if that’s the case
