Spoilers WWE SmackDown Tapings – July 9th

Dark Match:

* Alberto Del Rio defeated Tyler Reks.

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* SmackDown opens with Drew McIntyre, who has resolved his visa issues. Teddy Long doesn’t believe him. Drew nominates him for the 2011 Hall of Fame. Teddy says if Drew wants to be in MITB, he has to get on his knees and call him handsome, saying it’s an honor to work for him. Drew does it but Teddy was just messing. Teddy says Drew can be in the match if he beats Kofi Kingston tonight.

* MVP vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Dolph Ziggler takes place for a spot in Money in the Bank. Ziggler wins with the sleeper on MVP.

* Rey Mysterio is backstage with a cast on. Jack Swagger comes in and puts a submission on the injured ankle. Swagger brings Rey out to the arena but Big Show makes the save. Show carried Rey to the back.

* Vance Archer and Curt Hawkins defeated Christian and Matt Hardy. Christian turned his back on Hardy, allowing Hawkins to get the win for his team.

* Drew McIntyre beats Kofi Kingston to earn a spot at Money in the Bank. A good match here.

* Straight Edge Society comes out. Luke Gallows thinks Serena should be kicked out of the group. Serena apologizes for the video we saw last week. Gallows leaves the ring after Punk says it’s his decision. Punk forgives Serena and they hug.

* Cody Rhodes defeats JTG. Cody debuts new theme music here.

* Kelly Kelly is interviewed. She will face Layla for the Women’s Title at Money in the Bank. Layla runs in and sprays Kelly with her perfume. They fight until Michelle McCool attacks Kelly from behind.

* It’s announced that Nexus will be on next week’s NXT.

* Big Show vs. Jack Swagger ends in a countout. Swagger goes backstage and runs into Kane. Kane pulls Swagger into a room and threatens him. Swagger has one week to prove that he didn’t attack Undertaker.

Kelly Kelly 4 the WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP REALLY WWE!!! Seriously what is this Divas Division coming 2 in the WWE???
Even though the girl has improved (somewhat).She still needs some more TRAINING.They really should have put he in the Divas Championsip Hunt but they constantly pushed Maryse.As far as her being WC she has a long way 2 go.Gail Kim should have this push instead of K2 or let her lose at MITB and have Katie Lea comeback and defeat Layla. But that’s wishful thinkin. Either way I hope she wins the title because LayCool is getting on my last good nerve but they r good a$$ heels. LOL!!!!

so, Christian is turning Heel???, last time he was a hell in WWE he was a biger jobber than he is now…. lost my hopes on Christian too…. damn!!!

I don’t think its a heel turn, just that he has long-time rivalry with Matt and they are both in the MITB.

Christian didn’t job as a heel he actually was very successful he beat Jericho at mania. He feuded with Randy Orton for a while and he was also main eventing raw at times not to mention he was also in a couple of wwe title matches at ppv’s. When Christian started well not jobbing but losing steam was when his contract was expiring. If Christian never went to Tna he would of became a world champion.

nooooooo christian is not a heel he’s just doing what randy orton did to evan bourne on raw…money in the bank is everyone for himself.

@real wrestling god. if he would of never went to tna he would be in main events but i doubt even witht he roster they had back then vince would want the belt on him. i would of like to have seen the belt on him then or sometime in the future but that will probably never happen

to rko i agree he should but vince has never been high on christian thats why when he came back originally it was on ecw. he has never liked his work and its a shame cause christian is bad ass

@the real wrestling god, i actually thought about that before writing the comment, but i still feel he wasnt and isnt used properly. He should be the champion just like Matt Hardy, but since Mcmahon dont like em hell be a mid carder as long as he is in WWE. and thanks for claring things about him turning heel, where am from WWE isnt on tv any more so i just check it on the web and only watch the ppv´s.
