Spoilers WWE SmackDown Tapings – Feb. 12th

- Thanks to Thad and Prowrestling.net for these live SmackDown spoilers from tonight’s tapings:

* The Tribute to the Troops video was shown.

* The show started with the announcement of the Undertaker facing Chris Jericho in a No DQ match and John Morrison vs. R-Truth will face each other later also. The matches will feature all of the Elimination Chamber participants facing each other randomly.

1. Rey Mysterio defeated C.M. Punk. The Straightedge Society beat on Rey afterwards.

An NXT commercial was shown and Drew McIntyre came out with a new theme.

2. Drew McIntyre vs. Kane ended in a double countout. Kane chokeslammed McIntyre and said that he wants the IC title.

3. Michelle McCool and Layla defeated Mickie James in a handicap match.

Edge vs. Batista is announced for next week…

4. Matt Hardy and The Great Khali defeated the Hart Dynasty. Matt scored the win with an rollup on Kidd. Maria came out with Matt as his Valentine and she got into a fight with Natalya after the match.

5. R-Truth vs. John Morrison ended in a no-contest because Morrison got injured. Truth and the referees helped Morrison in the back.

Edge came to the ring for commentary.

6. Chris Jericho defeated Undertaker in a No DQ match. Jericho picked up the win with the Codebreaker after Edge speared Taker.

Dark Match:

1. Undertaker defeated Batista a no DQ match for the World Heavyweight Championship. The match ended when the Straight Edge Society, Chris Jericho, Kane and Matt Hardy interfered.

I hope if the injury isn’t a work that Morrison is ok, I’d hate to see him miss out on a big match like EC.

And so begins the build up for Punk vs Mysterio at WM26.
Christ, i really hope Morrison isnt legitimatly injured!!!! He’s the brightest young star the company has and is on the verge of the biggest match of his career so far!!!
If this is an angle with HBK replacing Morrison in the EC match….then i only hope it leads to HBK vs Morrison at WM26, which would be dynamite.

Come on, Mills – There’s no way that HBK is facing anyone but Taker at Wrestlemania. They’ve teased it far too much for it not to happen.

Actually, I’m really, REALLY hoping that this Taker/HBK BS has actually been a swerve. As if you couldn’t tell, HBK is gradually turning into the “crazy heel”, which for one is great, because I’m tired of his shiny, christian goody goodiness. But secondly, it’s good because at this point I don’t think he’s actually going to wind up facing Taker. I think somehow, he’s going to either screw HHH, and they are going to wind up fighting at WM, or, he’s going to snap and do something else retarded, which will end up with him facing someone NOT Undertaker, regardless, at WM.
But DX is done, for sure, and I really think HHH vs. HBK could happen. Not that I WANT to see that match, really. But it would be better, FAR FAR better, than having to watch HHH win a championship again, OR, watching HBK end Taker’s streak, which would piss me off to the point of seriously not watching WWE anymore.
On a side note, I too absolutely hope Morrison is okay. He’s awesome.

does anyone else think that instead of having Kane fight for the IC title, he should be right in the thick of the World Heavyweight title picture? I want Kane to wear a world title. WHO’S WITH ME?? ha.
