Spoilers WWE SmackDown Tapings – August 13th

- Thanks to B. Morris for the following WWE SmackDown tapings from last night’s show in California. These may not be in order so if you have a more detailed report, feel free to send it in.

* Kane defeated Kofi Kingston in the opener.

* Drew McIntyre defeated Matt Hardy.

* Cody Rhodes defeated Christian.

* MVP defeated Jack Swagger.

* A segment was shot where Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler fought. Tedd Long announced they will face each other for the Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam.

* Big Show defeated three local stars in a handicap match. CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury exchanged words with Show after the match.

* Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match in the main event. Rey won the match. Kane had brought the casket down to ringside and after the match, he and Rey fought some.

MVP doesn’t blow, but I will admit that that does suck for swagger being that MVP is a midcarder and has no real push or storyline right now. Making that win kinda embarrassing. Maybe they’re trying to push MVP….doubt it though.
