Spoilers WWE SD Tapings – August 21st, 2009

WWE SmackDown, Airing Friday:

Smackdown starts with a six man tag Mysterio and Cryme Tyme vs. Jericho, Show, and Ziggler. Ziggler pins Mysterio with an assist from Show. Said to be a really good match with a hot crowd.

Sit down interview with Matt Hardy. He apologizes for everything and Jeff accepted.

Kane promo. Typical Kane promo. Khali has compassion he doesn’t. Blah blah. Khali runs out and beats on Kane a bit before he bails.

Knox vs. Finlay is next. Finlay wins by DQ when Knox doesn’t break at 5. Afterward Knox destroys Finlay with the ringsteps…Jeff Hardy promo up next.

Hardy says he was advised by doctors to retire but he won’t. Punk interrupts and says Summerslam will be Hardy’s last match. Hardy gives Punk The Twist of Fate.

Maria and Melina vs. Layla and Natalya is next. Melina pins Natalya with a sunset flip.

Mysterio promo with Matthews followed by JR and Todd Grisham running down the Summerslam card.

Main event: Hardys/John Morrison vs. CM Punk/Hart Dynasty. Hardys come out to their old music and titantron for their entrance. Matt gets the fall on CM Punk. Nice match. Hardys and Morrison celebrate after. No shenanigans.

Hardy beat Punk in a cage. Dark match main event.

that bit right there is dead certain confirmation that jeff will lose at summerslam, annd retire/quit/take time off, whatever you want to call it.

I hope Jeff & Matt – especially Matt, dies this Sunday in a freak accident during the TLC match. The Hardy Boyz are the most over-rated bastards in Wrestling history.

hmm quick face turn for matt and here we have the wwe letting matt and jeff have a final swansong tag match before jeff bows out? i hope not, but this points towards never coming back.

And if they want to do it right, then they have Matt Hardy completely destroy Jeff Hardy that gives a good reason why Jeff Hardy will no longer be able to compete making Matt Hardy the most hated man on smackdown (due to Jeff’s massive popularity).

Matt Hardy can then have the moniker, “I ended my brothers wrestling career.”
JR: How low can a man get? Causing his own brother a career ending injury?
