Update on WWE’s Undertaker Project, Taker/Punk Casket Match and More

- WWE will release the first two volumes of their Survivor Series Anthology DVD sets tomorrow. The first volume will cover Survivor Series 1987-1991 and the second volume will cover 1992-1996.
- Tommy Dreamer will be appearing at the Florida Championship Wrestling TV tapings this Thursday night in Tampa.
- WWE is advertising CM Punk vs. The Undertaker in a Casket Match and DX & John Cena vs. Legacy & Randy Orton for the TV tapings in the UK on November 9th and 10th.
- As noted over the weekend, WWE is planning a movie based on the origin of The Undertaker character, reportedly a Western set in the 1800′s. The project does not have any actors or writers at this point but is in WWE Studios’ plans for 2010-2011. The current projected budget for the movie is in the $3.5 million range, indicating that it’s a direct to DVD film.
