WWE Wellness/Alcohol Update, Damon Hosting RAW, DiBiase, More

Posted by Marc Middleton on Friday, December 18th, 2009

- Tommy Dreamer and Mickie James will be appearing at II Primo Pizza and Wings in Cape Coral, Florida on Monday, December 21st from 3-5PM.

- Ted DiBiase will be signing copies of The Marine 2 at FYE on East Randolph Street in Chicago, IL on Wednesday, January 6th from 12:30-2:30PM. The first 300 fans who purchase a Marine 2 DVD are guaranteed to get it signed by DiBiase.

- MLB star Johnny Damon will be promoting his non-profit Johnny Damon Foundation when he hosts WWE’s Monday Night RAW later this month.

- As noted before, WWE recent made changes to their Wellness policy. In an interesting note regarding alcohol, the policy states that WWE talents are prohibited from “using or consuming alcohol at any time within a twelve hour period prior to any WWE event or WWE scheduled performance.”

So they can’t drink (12 hours prior) if an event is scheduled or only if they are scheduled to appear?

Ummmmmmmm, Most wrestlers work over 300 days a year, kinda hard to follow that policy if lets say Tommy Dreamer wanted a cold one after a long day of driving to the next town.

believe it or not 1 beer a day can slow you down over a period of time so I don’t really blame them for bringing this in.
I can see how it can seem unfair for wrestlers that are scheduled to wrestler 90% of the year but oh well.

that shouldnt be much of a big deal. even if they have one event after the other they can have a beer or whatever they want after the event is done.
