WWE Reaches Agreement With Ultimate Warrior

It was reported this past September that the lawsuit Warrior (a.k.a. Ultimate Warrior) had filed against World Wrestling Entertainment in January 2006 regarding its DVD release on him, Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior, was thrown out. Judge Douglas L. Rayes ruled that Warrior could not sue for damages over the company’s comments towards him on the title because he had made “publicly disparaging claims” against WWE (on his website). It was also ruled that Warrior would have to pay WWE’s attorney costs and expenses in defending themselves against his breach of contract lawsuit — a total of $18,967.46.

In an update on the situation, both sides later came to the judge and said the case had been resolved, with World Wrestling Entertainment waiving Warrior’s near $19,000 legal bill.

Ultimate warrior is just another old bitter wrestler that needs to be left in the past

looks like the Warrior is going to be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame next year. WWE is trying to bury the hatchet with Warrior. well it’s makes sense to drop the lawsuit and let him in the HOF.

This is always an interesting topic. Honestly Warrior should go into the Hall Of Fame based on the standards for entry which have been established. I mean Tony Atlas…..with all due respect looking at his career the first thing that comes to my mind is wasted potential. Or another example the old Birdman Ko Ko B. Ware although a favorite of many back in the eighties and early nineties was always used as an under card performer. Truthfully at this point the HOF means little more then gathering some former superstars together for a cameo. Nothing wrong with that but it seems as long as people know who you are you can make it in. Warrior was for a time the companies top star and held the title.

Warrior was never a great wrestler, but he’s definitely
one of the top names we think of during late 80′s and
    early 90′s..
But they really should put DiBiase in the HOF first..
One of the greatest and most beloved heel character of
all time is not in the HOF do not make any sense to me..

The HOF started as great but they have far too many people inducted each year which is why they end up with people like koko in there.
At this rate more than half odf wrestlers from the 809′s will be there.
LOD are a must to go in.

Warrior may be a douche but he most definitely deserves to be in. There’s hope for the Macho Man yet. Come on Koko B Ware??? I agree with another poster there does seem to be too many inductees each year. They should take the football route one type of entry per year. One Manager, One Superstar, One Tag Team, and One Diva….

I like Franks idea. I also believe that their are too many big stars being induced each year. Then eventually every legend and pioneer would be called a Hall of Famer, that’s annoying IMO.

Come on The Ultimate Warrior was nothing more then a steroid no talent prick. You want someone for \HOF\ Induction how about some wrestlers that actually made it fun to watch like Honky Tonk Man, Rick Martel, Barry Windam, OWEN HART,Macho Man, Bruno Samartino, King Kong Bundy just to name a few. I would put anyone of these guys in before Warrior or Koko B. Ware.
