Date: Mar 11, 2010 at 12:06 AMWell, Goldberg deserves to be inducted more than Ultimate Warrior does. But that’s not saying much.
But to say that they’re running out of “main eventers”…so what? There are PLENTY of guys that deserve to be inducted into the HOF. Sting, DDP, Lex Luger, The LOD, Demolition, The British Bulldog (and Dynamite Kid), Jim Neidhart, Owen Hart, Bam Bam Bigelow, Yokozuna, Big Boss Man, Haku, Psycho Sid, The Killer Bees, The Rougeaus, Dean Malenko, Ravishing Rick Rude, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, a lot of other NWA and AWA wrestlers, etc. etc. etc.
And there are even more wrestlers getting up there in age who likely won’t be wrestling much longer, who ALSO deserve to be inducted, like Vader, Booker T (and Stevie Ray), the Steiner Brothers, The Headshrinkers (Fatu/Rikishi and Samu), Al Snow, Shane Douglas, The Dudley Boys (whenever they finally quit TNA), The New Age Outlaws, Raven, Sabu, Ken Shamrock, Kane, The Undertaker (who is likely to retire sooner than later, HBK (ditto), hell, even THE ROCK.
So it’s not like they don’t have a steady stream of guys that they couldn’t get. And for the love of Christ, PLEASE induct Macho Man Randy Savage!! While the man is still alive to accept his damn induction himself.

Nothing against the guy, but he never truly cared about the business the way those guys did. There’s a reason they’re still doing it and it’s not for the paycheck (well, for Hall, maybe, but he does truly understand and enjoy the business). Honestly, I think Goldberg hates being known as “that wrestler guy”.

If WWE next year does a WCW HOF I would like to see people like Lex Lugar or DDP, or even Book if he does argee to come back. Goldberg I wouldnt mind in because he was a World champion in both WCW and WWE. But also agree Goldberg was a hype wrester. But WWE neeed to put more wrestler than anybody is Owen Hart. It been long too much to put him in.

Date: Mar 11, 2010 at 10:01 AMGoldberg and Warrior were for a time huge stars who made history. Yes there careers were short lived and not without controversy but for as long as they were on tv both were at the top of the card.
The standard for the Hall of Fame right now seems to be that you are fondly remembered. Take Ko Ko B. Ware. Great worker and very entertaining but never a main event star and generally a contract jobber.
Or Tony Atlas who did make history winning the tag belts with Rocky Johnson but pretty much pissed away the rest of his career. If willing Warrior and Goldberg should definitely go in.

Also like to see in is Owen,David Boy Smith, Jack the Snake , Lex ,Dean ,The Dynamite Kid, The Road Warriors ,The Rock ,and Rick Martel.

Hell, Vince could even put Mr. T into the Hall of Fame because he main-evented Wrestlemania one w/Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, Paul Orton and Bob Orton. And Mr. T had a classic match @ Wrestlemania II against Roddy Piper in that famous Boxer v.s. Wrestler Match.
