WWE Hall of Famer Changes His Name?, Bill Goldberg Being Inducted Into Jewish HOF, More

Posted by Daniel Pena on Sunday, December 27th, 2009

– Two-time World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg will be among the inductees to the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame next year. He will be the first professional wrestler to be inducted into this prestigious Hall of Fame.

– Speaking of Goldberg, today is his birthday as he turns 43 years old today. In other wrestling birthdays, former WWE Women’s Champion Chyna turns 39 while Bart Gunn turns 44 years of age. Also, former WCW wrestler Jerry “The Wall” Tuite would have turned 42 years old. On December 6, 2003, he passed away at the age of 35 after being found unconscious in a hotel room in Japan.

– Former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia is auctioning off a “Super SeXy” pink dress and open toe platform heels worn during a WWE photo shoot. You can view her auctions at the following link.

– WWE Hall of Famer Greg “The Hammer” Valentine has apparently changed his legal name from John Wisniski, Jr. to Gregory Lee, reports the Wrestling Observer.

Didn’t Bart Gunn wrestle in Japan for years? Is he still active over there? He could be a potential signing for TNA if he is back in the States?
