WWE Errors at TLC, Tonight’s Big Slammy RAW, Superstars Beats ECW

- Mike sent the following: I caught several errors during the color at WWE TLC. For one, they said that the last time a WWE Champion was born outside the US was Yokozuna but they seem to have forgot guys like Edge or Bret Hart. Another was when Striker said it’s been decades since the IC belt changed hands in Texas but it just changed hands at Wrestlemania 25 when Rey Mysterio beat JBL among other times.

- This past Thursday’s episode of WWE Superstars on WGN America scored an 0.9 rating with the replay doing an 0.15. The first showing actually did better numbers than ECW this week.

- Tonight’s three-hour edition of RAW with the Slammy Awards will air at 8PM EST from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas with Dennis Miller as the special guest host. Talent from all three brands will be at RAW tonight.

    The error in Texas is wrong. Because They specificly said San Antonio and Mania was in Houston. I heard them talking about Yokozuna but i didnt get what they were saying. I think they had mentioned that the last time someone was undefeated going into a World Title match and won was Yokozuna and he was outside of the country. Cause i remember saying wow that is true. BTW! GO SHEAMUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I remember the Yokozuna quote, but I don’t think that it would be as blatantly obvious as that. It may have been North America that they had said. I don’t remember hearing about the IC title, but I do know that they said the ECW title never changed hands in Texas, which makes one wonder how many times it was actually defended in Texas.

    Why do they say that DX has never won a Tag Title? The outlaws (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) were in DX and they had the tag titles. Hmmm…

    Because the Outlaws won the titles before joining DX. Not ragging on you, just saying.

    when they say DX they mean HHH/HBK, obviously they like to erase the NAO from peoples memories because tehy are not part of the wwe anymore

    And Sheamus lost to Goldust in ECW…if anyone cares to remember…. Goldust should get the next title shot!! haha

    @Valo487
    The outlaws won the tag titles when they were in DX:
    -The next night on raw after WM14 they won the titles from Cactus Jack and Terry funk. That is the night then they joined DX.

    -New Age Outlaws vs Mankind New York, NY 08-30-98

    -New Age Outlaws vs Mankind & The Rock Dallas, TX 09-23-99

    theres more but I just want to put more. I do agree with AL though.

    No, they had the titles before, they lost them to Chainsaw and Cactus at Wrestlemania, won them back the night they joined DX, but they were the tag champs before they ever joined DX.

    The quote that was used last night at the TLC ppv which talked of Yokozuna was actually him being the last one to win the wwe championship that was born outside of usa/canada.
