Date: Nov 30, 2009 at 6:40 PMMakes perfect sense the ECW brand doesn’t and really since they brought it back has never fir in with how the WWE is run and aimed at these days
Back in the Attitude era, and ECW [a real ECW] show would have done great, but its just exactly the same as Raw and Smackdown, no point in that show having any titles either, the ECW title will become a IC title level title, it has been for years anyway

Date: Dec 01, 2009 at 12:47 AMECW is not ECW anymore, if anything they shoulda just brought back WCW and made that the third brand…would of made more since for what they’re doing now. Shoot WWE doesn’t even care about ECW anymore, the bragging right PPV featured Smackdown vs raw, with ECW nowhere to be found. Then the smackdown vs raw games only say “featuring” ECW down at the bottom….I really do hope they change the name.

WWE “REHAB CENTER”.
That’s what ECW is right now.
A TV version of Rehab Center for people who couldn’t cut
it on Raw or Smackdown or no-namers to get some TV time.

Date: Dec 01, 2009 at 3:10 AMjust cancel Superstars as the fourth show, replace it with an hour version of SmackDown on WGN America (call it AM SmackDown, PM SmackDown or Weekend SmackDown) air it on Saturdays or Sundays, and merge ECW/Superstars and reboot it as “WWE Superstars: The Future of the WWE Today with the slogan “hey the Superstars have to come somewhere”

Date: Feb 02, 2010 at 9:58 PMI dont see this as a bad thing. I mean, the recent incarnation of ECW is a joke. Where are the cool ppvs of ECW’s past? Where are the barbedwire ropes and baseball bats? Where? ECW now is nothing more than a lower reduced version of smackdown. I loved the old ecw. I used to go the shows in South Philly. It was entertaining. One match I saw, they (ecw staff) went around before the match and collected stuff that fans in the front row brought in such as stop signs, a sink, etc and the staff tossed them into the ring and it a brutal match.
