WWE Day of Reckoning

Well lets get started with this games positives… First off this game is a great improvement of Wrestlemania XIX so it is a must buy for wrestling/fighting game fans. This game has the good gameplay you can break up moves (any move) and the animations flow nicely and incredibly smooth. At first I thought the games gravity was too much but after playing this game once I was wrong this game’s gameplay is perfect. The match types and rosters are a tad lacking but the amount of ways you can play each mode is great. Story mode is fun and entertaining but as you near the end (week 35) everything gets repetitive. The tutorial is great except you play against a mirror image but thats just minor. My only dislikes to this game are the Superstar Select Screen because it is just faces and not any background just ugly again minor grievence and also the camera is just a little to close for me but I got used to it. Lets get this started…

Graphics: Each wrestler has a totaly unique look (except The Bashams lol.) Everyone has their own nose mouth face shape which realy adds to the realisticness and detail. The animations in this game are oncredible realistic and no height change affects the move (unlike Smackdown) A huge step up this year gives this game an advantage.
Overall: 7/10

Gameplay: This game’s gameplay can only be described as fabulous. Total realism for the ability to break up all moves to action replays. I love the reversals and the Royal Rumble elimination style (the best their is). My only dislike in the gameplay is the Cage match takes way too long to get out from the top and that table moves are difficult to preform. This game also doesnt tell you that how to tag in the manual so you have to complete the tutorial.
Overall: 6/10

Game Modes: The great thing about this games game modes is that you can play them in so many different ways, you can play a Hell in a Cell single or a 4 man Hell in a Cell so the posibilities are almost endless. Each mode of play has its own unique action such as the Cage pull down, the HIAC climb the Royal Rumble elimination struggle. Not alot of gameplay problems except their is no Special Referee match. While it doesnt have Smackdowns modes of play it makes up for it with the incredible detail put into each match.
Overall: 7/10

Sound: A good but repetitive soundrack for this game. The soundrack would recieve a 8/10 alone but the ingame sound from grunting to being thrown into a cage wall. Not the best but still great.
Overall: 8/10

Roster: For the Last Time This Roster doesnt suck, create whoever you want ant put their screen shot up. You will never care when you create all of your missing superstars because you will think they are in the game. The roster itself is horrible but I will include the C.A.S mode into this so.
Overall: 8/10

Create a Superstar: While it isnt as detailed as Smackdowns it is better because it makes the C.A.S look as though he is an ingame superstar unlike Smackdowns. A great feature and good for SM i give it a…
Overall: 9/10
