Why is Ric Flair’s Ex-Wife Upset?

Posted by Marc Middleton on Friday, October 2nd, 2009

- WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair’s ex-wife Tiffany appeared on the Unholy Matrimony radio show over the weekend and commented on his decision to come out of retirement and wrestle Hulk Hogan in Australia next month.

“I’m very disappointed,” Tiffany said. “The WrestleMania and the Hall of Fame was so unbelievable and it was such a proud moment. No matter what I’ve been through with him, I was really, really proud to be part of that. It’s really unfortunate that he’s coming back under these circumstances, because that should have been the last day he wrestled. It was phenomenal and he should have been proud of that and it should have stayed that way.”

She must be the only person in the entire Universe who’s surprised that Flair is making a comeback.

I don’t know what she’s complaining about. The man’s got 3 ex wives. Alimony is a bitch.

I could imagine the alimony he’s paying. I couldn’t blame flair for it if it was his only means of income. You have to do what you have to do.

She’s right, Ric should do what other great athletes have done: when you retire, you stay retired. Look at the greats like Roger Clemens, Michael Jordan and Brett Favre. These men have pride and dignity because when they hung it up, it was truly over. Shame on you, Ric Flair.

Michael Jordan? Didn’t he retire to play baseball for the minor league team of the White Sox, and then later returned to the Bulls? It happens all the time. They never know when to quit.
