Update on Shawn Michaels After Last Night’s WrestleMania

Posted by Marc Middleton on Monday, March 29th, 2010

- Following last night’s WrestleMania 26, it appears that Shawn Michaels really is retiring, or at least taking a long break.

The WWE public relations person in the media section last night was telling reporters that Shawn Michaels is indeed retiring. This was also the word going around backstage at the show. A long break is at least possible as Shawn was telling people goodbye last night.

I can see HBK taking the rest of the year off. He has said on many occasions he wants to spend more time with his family.

He will probably comeback once or twice a year, like for SummerSlam and WrestleMania! And I hope he does. He’s the greatest wrestler I’ve seen and I’m already missing him.

I highly doubt he’ll ever go to TNA. I’m sure Vince will sign him to a Legend’s Contract.

Do argee Martin. HBK never had really much respect in TNA with the whole VKM storyline and even before that, I would be in defent shock if that happen. I think HBK would be back when he get induced into the HOF, but at the midtime i think i see him with his family and working more towards his faith.

HBK will always be apart of WWE in one way or another. If he were to come back once or twice through the year it would mean more and not to mention it will boost up the ratings. It would have been good to see him have one last run with Triple H or even better with the Kliq. One could only wish.

Hes retired for good you can tell by his reactions before and after the match. I know they do a lot of gimmick matches like that but if you pay attention you’ll see that last night was his retirement match. He’ll be back as a manager or something like that but last night was the last match we’ll ever see him in. why people hate him so much i dont know. HBK did not take all the spotlight like HHH. He has been in a lot of big matches but the big difference between him and HHH is that he does not bury anybody in the business. He may be in a numerous amount of main events at big PPVs but he always makes his opponent shine and jobs to them. How many times did he win the title when he came back in 2002? Only once and only held onto the title for a month! HBK always put people over while being the megastar that he is. He will be missed.

    HBK Forever!!!

I’m going to miss HBK but he deserves a long and fullfilled retirement and I wish him and his family all the best.

I put my money on him been inducted to the hall of fame next year. I also think we may have the sporadic DX appearance.

I also have 2 words 4 HBK. Thank You!!!

If you listen carefully during HBK’s exit, you can hear him shout to someone “I’ll be back in 3 weeks.”

HBK will never go to TNA. He worked for WWE for 25 years, and going to TNA would be a horrible thing for everyone. No H.O.F. No nothing.

Yeah, just like Allen said, HBK said that he’ll be driving his kids nuts in three weeks. Don’t know how you misheard that.

Give it a month HBK will be in TNA. That’s because he’s a washedup Hasbeen, and that’s were they all go. Hogan, Flair, Bischoff all washed up hasbeens
