– In a move that is likely to upset World Wrestling Entertainment and possibly hurt their PPV buyrate, UFC have decided to move their 3/12 PPV in Newark, NJ to 3/26, which is the night before WrestleMania 26.

As reported yesterday, UFC is also going head-to-head with RAW on 1/11 when they plan to run a Monday night Fight Night Live event on SpikeTV. This will be one week after the 1/4 WWE vs. TNA head-to-head.

dana white is going to drive his company into the ground trying to compete with boxing and wrestling. two long standing american traditions. while mma is growing, the fighters are beginning to feel the affects of the sport. they have more injured STARS now than ever. eventually there’s going to be no one left to draw major headlines.

No it’s not only Dana White it’s also Dixie Carter! It’s a triple team against WWE. It’s Spike TNA and UFC. That’s the smartest thing they could have done. Together they can do it, alone they’re dead. WWE is doing what Nintendo did, forgetting the hardcore and catering to the young audience. I used to love watching WWE but the stupid writers and crappy wrestlers made stop watching it. I’m sure there are a lot of fans that feel the same way I do.

TNA just do not have the tools to be the next WCW..
I personally think that it’s a huge mistake for them
    to go head-to-head with WWE.
With a bunch of mid-card talents and 50 and 60 year old
has beens won’t compete with WWE.
UFC is a real and different sport from wrestling…
I don’t know why they are trying to win over WWE fans..
UFC might be driving in more PPV buys but there are
a lot more financial sources that WWE is outselling UFC
    by far.
WWE will never go out of business.. Not for the next
    century

Did anyone stop to think…Shane Mcmahon has been in Dana’s ear the past couple months. It so sooo evident with them moving the PPV to the night before wrestlemania! UFC may have alot of stars injured, but do you ever stop to realize how many new guys there are out there training just waiting for their chance? There are more guys training to be MMA fighters than there are guys wanting to be in the WWE!

and one other thing…I will make the bold prediction that both UFC and TNA will overtake WWE with the next 3-5 years! especially considering the fact that IF Linda McMahon wins a seat in Congress (and it’s looking like she probably will), they will tone down the story lines even further. Getting into actual REAL politics will be the down fall for WWE!

On;y AJ and Joe have the real abillity to stand out as TNAs own main even talent and I can see dixie carter failing to keep them elevated to that level TNA is turned in to a wreslters beach were all the old wrestlers get washed up. I use to love tna and as much as I like Mick foley TNA just isn’t worth watching anymore. I kind have wish double J had kept majority ownership in the company because he knew he had to make his own guys sting was only signed to help get them over

This is good news to me UFC needs to make a MAJOR card on that PPV before Wrestlemania to really hurt WWE they need to put Brock on the card which is unlikely since he’s ill now unless he gets better from now to then ill be watching fight night instead of RAW :)

Just to point something out to “Mike Crazy”… Nintendo’s “Forget hardcore gamers and cater to everyone” approach has made the Wii the highest selling console of this generation.. so maybe WWE are doing it right.
