Top WWE Team Breaking Up?, SmackDown! News, Maria/MVP

Posted by W-E on Friday, August 21st, 2009

– Maria and MVP are today’s WWE.com Daily Diva and Superstar of the Day, respectively.

– Tonight’s SmackDown! television preview, via MSN TV: “Two days until SummerSlam. Plus, 6-man tag team action featuring The Hardy Brothers.”

– Set to release on December 29, Ted DiBiase is the star of WWE’s “The Marine 2″ project. The plan, come late November, is for Ted DiBiase to turn babyface (against the other Legacy members) in conjunction with the hard sell for the DVD release, although WWE would presumably hold off on the turn if the Legacy contingent stays hot on RAW. take The Miz to the Legacy if DiBiase is leaving soon for his movie. wwe need bigger faction, like nwo was. new faction, new storylines. its enough of cena vs orton vs triple h all the time.

I say take out Ted and make him Face then bring in Joe Hennig as his replacement in Legacy

I agree with Mike. I personally think Ted has a future as a singles competitor and doesn’t need to be in a group or faction to “get over.” In fact, taking on a heel group could really raise his stock. Also, FCW is stacked with several other 2nd and 3rd generation stars that could really get a boost if they were to join Legacy. It really just depends on if WWE feels one of those FCW stars truly has star potential or not. They’d hate to make a mistake putting certain individuals into a prestigious group (see: Snuka; Manu).

Ted has the ability to become greater then what his father was. His father has never won the then wwf championship but his son has the potential to become a big star

true ryan, but ted and cody have something good don’t break them up just yet i really never saw the whole dx jumping thing i figured they would just do their thing then leave basically dx vs legacy is the most hyped up match for summer slam/fest

I agree with Ryan, but dude lets be honest WWE/F in that day was stupid for not making Million Dollar Man the champ. To me and this is just my opinion no disrespect to the Nature Boy, Million Dollar Man is perhaps the greatest heel of all time. I mean the thought of buying what ever u want was just awesome. what i think should happen is that if Ted does turn Face, have his brother called up on turn his back on him and join Legacy. Fucking Awesome
