The Undertaker’s Next Challenger, Young WWE Stars Shine At Survivor Series & more

- Jim Ross’ has a new blog up at http://www.jrsbarbq.com/ – the following are among the highlights:

* I assume that ‘Taker is Batista’s next target as I can’t see a return match from Sunday night. Taker-Batista seems the most logical but I don’t have any inside info to base this on FYI.

* Will Rey be off for while after sustaining the beating from the Animal.

* The key, young guys got the chance to shine in the first tag bout including (Dolph) Ziggler, Miz, (Jack) Swagger, (Drew) McIntyre, and Sheamus. All these guys are ‘keepers’ and are counted on to be future, PPV headliners. The creative debate aside, the level of success these young men find will largely be up to them, how innovative they can become, and how willing they are to dedicate themselves to getting better and being reliable and problem free individuals. Good, solid opening contest.

Ditto. Undertake needs someone with personality to feud with, and Batista just doesn’t have it.

Guess who’ll be heading to Wrestlemania with the belt? Yup … this is tiring.

Glad to see Jim Ross’ perspective on the new guys. Though he shouldn’t talk about “innovation” since that word is practically shunned.

I would rather see McIntyre fueding against ‘Taker
than watching another Batista vs. ‘Taker feud

WHo else is there to put against Taker??
Taker should not have the belt now anyways. They should give it to someone who can take on ALL CHALLENGERS and defend the belt regularly, like Bret Hart did when he first won the belt.
I say give someone NEW the belt instead of the same old 3 or 4 people….
I wouldnt mind seeing someone like Ziggler or even Morrison with the title. As long as Taker, Batista, Rey mysterio or CM PUNK doesnt have it I will be happy…

No wonder WWE is going under, with the same boring old stuff over and over. I don’t even watch it anymore.

I’m suprised they didn’t mention Kofi Kingston. He really stepped up last night as well.

well if Batista mysterio feud is over as Rey taking time off for surgery. Now Batista is a heel, taker feud seems the logical choice. unless they get jericho to drop the belt so the big show can have his surgery. maybe a taker-jericho feud will continue. this has not happened before

I’d really like Punk as a champion, but I don’t see him headlining Wrestlemania just yet, so perhaps after WM. Right now they’re probably going to have to stick the belt on Taker or one of their established stars so they have a credible match for WM. Jericho would be my pick.
