- The Business Review had an article this week noting that the city of Atlanta is also hoping to bid on the chance to host WrestleMania in 2011. Gary Stokan, president of the Atlanta Sports Council added, “This has the potential to be a huge economic impact.”

- The masked man on RAW a few weeks back during Cedric The Entertainer’s match was former WWE developmental talent and good friend of Batista’s, Imani Lee. Lee is also a former boxer and K-1 fighter. He was released from his WWE developmental contract in November of 2008 after being signed in May of the same year.

I beleive that Atlanta is a phenomenal place to host Wrestlemania. Atlanta being one of the biggest cities in the US. Atlanta is also a well known city around the world.

You can’t go wrong with the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. That’s destined to have a wrestlemania there.

Wrestlemania should ALWAYS be in NY. Only the best wrestlemanias have taken place in Madison Square gardens. Doesn’t WWE still hold the record at like 95,000 attending there???

WWE shouldnt bring WM there & ill tell ya why…only because 2 years ago they gave WWE alot of hell & damn hard time because of the Benoit situation, all they did was insult, blame WWE for the tragedy that struck that summer & now since WWE isnt going there as much these days for obvious reason.. now all the sudden they want WM there?…what hypocritical community i tell ya..i dont think that the fans of atlanta should suffer but thats there community for ya

Personally I think Wrestlemania should come to North Carolina at least once. Probably Charlotte, or Raleigh, or even Greensboro. With the wrestling history in North Carolina it just needs a Wrestlemania. And plus I live in NC…=]

A-freakin’-men Sir William. I live in Charlotte and our last PPV was Vengeance 2006. I went to TNA Against All Odds 2008 in Greenville, SC, but any of the 4 PPVs in NC would be great!

Yes sir Monarch and I was at that Vengeance too! They should at least have a Royal Rumble in Charlotte. OR Greensboro. The Greensboro collesium can easily hold 13-14,000. I was there for the final Raw of 2007 (Ric Flair vs HHH), and it was packed to 10,000 it seemed. Greensboro also has wild wrestling fans, so a major PPV would be nice. Bottom line is NC has some GREAT wrestling history and loyal fans.

It should be in Chicago. I’m not talking about the Allstate Arena out in Rosemont but the United Center in Chicago.

I don’t think it should be in Atlanta. I was in town for a few days a couple of weeks back, and i thought it was a crime ridden crap-hole, no offense to the people who live there, but Atlanta in my opinion would not be a great city for it. I’m just sayin
