Ted Dibiase Says he Wants to End The Undertaker’s Undefeated WrestleMania Streak

Posted by W-E on Thursday, September 17th, 2009

- Legacy’s Ted Dibiase was recently interviewed by ESPN and said his career goal in World Wrestling Entertainment would be to end the The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak.

There was talk last year when Dibiase first arrived on the scene of positioning him as a young star to actually end The Streak. However, it seems that this year may come too early as the company is slowly building him up, along with Cody Rhodes, in their feud against DX.

In the interview, there is also mention of Dibiase’s younger brother Bret, who made a run-in during SummerSlam during the Orton-Cena match. Dibiase states that he’s only been with WWE developmental for 6 months and being a young starter, needs time to work his way up to the main roster.

I do not think they did not make it 17-0 to end at the hands of Ted Dibiase the streak will Continue tell 20-0 and taker will Retire then

If Undertaker’s streak is ever to end, I believe it will be his choise as to who he puts over. Obviously, Vince and Co. will have lots of input, but I doubt ‘Taker jobs on the biggest stage to someone he doesn’t like or feel is worthy. I wouldn’t be surprised if his streak is never broken, or atleast never ‘cleanly’ broken (perhaps someone would knock him or get him DQ’d which would techically be a loss, but not exactly).

I will have to agree with Larry, IF the streak ever ends, it should be ended by Kane, or Mankind if he were still in WWE. I also think he will go 20-0 before retiring though, so I’m not sure the streak will ever end. Either way, Taker is by far the greatest wrestler WWE has ever seen.

Lets face it when legacy breaks up Ted with end up being a big super star where Cody will be jobbing in TNA or ROH………..thats if his daddy can get him a job there too…….he is just painful to watch… He should thank Ted every day for his job cause thats the only reason he has it!!!!!!!!!

NO ONE would believe Ted beating Taker at Mania.

But what if Team Legacy faced Taker in a handicap match…..

    Anythings Possible.

It would be a suicide for WWE, if Cena beats ‘Taker at WM.
There are plenty of Cena-haters all over the world, it will
    turn everyone against him.

i don’t think that ending the streak wold be bad for business and the butrates of WM won’t beu low, it would be high, everyone would buy the WM that Undertaker fianally lost. It depends on who’s gonna end it.

Personally i don;t think the streak will ever end, the only one aho could end it where Orton at WM21. Dibiase would be a bad choice this year.. in a year or 2 i don’t know..

David,Larry, and Rae kane has already faced the undertaker twice at wrestlemania.Soo it would be really stupid if kane faced undertaker 3 times at wrestlemania and the 3 time he beat him

we have already seen the kane taker dance twice kane is 0-2. it has to be against someone who has never faced him at wm. i think that what should have happend, dont do the screwover for taker at brkng point do it at wrestlemania. that would have been a loss

I would like to see Ted DiBiase try and end the undertaker’s streak. He will get the crap kicked out of him at the hands of the undertaker.
