Reason for Big Show’s New Look, Backstage News on Vince McMahon and More

- Big Show’s new look was done to make him look slimmer and more athletic in the ring.

- In another interesting chapter on WWE’s backstage frustration, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Chairman Vince McMahon has been described as “on edge” and “unhappy with the product now.”

The lack of depth at the main-event, as proven by how limited WWE’s roster became once names like Edge and Batista went down to injury, is said to really frustrate and worry Vince McMahon. At the same time, roster members have criticized WWE officials (a group that includes McMahon) for not working to elevate talent–names like MVP and Jack Swagger, who have been highly praised in recent months, have been firmly established as midcarders on RAW.

Most within the company, however, do not purely blame creative for not giving opportunities to rising stars. Rather, they also believe developmental is doing a worse job of producing ready-for-primetime talent. The success in recruiting top-level athletes has also declined lately.

jack swagger just got there, cant blame them for not build him up yet. myp does need a new look before heavyweight title around his waist. here another idea tell hbk and undertaker to get there ass back to work.

why not do something with mark henry? i can definitely see why nothing has been done with swagger just yet, his time will come. mvp is starting to build himself up and i don’t think us fans are ready to see him main event a ppv, quite yet. but mark henry has been around a long time and i think it would be a great thing is the wwe gave him a huge push and he main evented Summerslam.

Putting Show in new ring attire doesn’t mean the he will no longer be a jobber. This title reign will not last long. It’s sad, I really liked Jericho and Edge together. Together, they could have taught the younger wrestlers how to use the mic by experiencing it first hand.

Big Show looks like a 7 foot version of King Kong Bundy now. Maybe getting him into the gym and away from the City Wok buffet would be more of a benefit.

WWE screwed themselves over. Christian on ECW?? Mysterio as I.C. champ? Freaking ORTON as WWE champ again? Punk only having a month and a half reign?
And why the hell can’t we give Taker a long title reign. Or better yet, give Michaels the freaking title for a month. The titles have switched so many times already that they might as well give it to someone the fans want to see as champ.

HBK, Taker and henry( tryed many times to get him over and dosen’t work) have all been with wwe 4 over 11 years. when a old talent is gone for some time u make new stars and the last time a new star was truly made on raw was edge and that was in 05/06. sure fcw sux big time (WWE really needs ross and ovw back in those spots). swagger, mvp (they failed big time with miz as when cena had a little bit of focus on him and made him look like a compete geek, mostly in that battle royal spot at the end there)
ps smackdown is doing ok with punk, morrison, Ziggler.

this is their time if they don’t more up 4 a while they will end up like the gold standard, carito either just in the lower mid card or lower mid card and dosen’t care anymore

MVP is good and I don’t know what is WWE’s problem with the same people being Champion and Jeff Hardy who is not even Champion material is a Champion.
MVP Should be back heel again and be champion, and I’m tired of seeing Cena, HHH, and Orton as champ is getting old.
MVP has been held back for 2 years now and CM Punk is a 2 time champ and he came before MVP.

OK… First of all: Jeff Hardy and Cm Punk are not “champion material”… But Jeff makes money, and Vincent Kennedy McMahon likes money, hell yeah! John Cena is not a wrestler… Well, he’s not even a lacking Diva, but he makes money too… He sucks! And he has been world champion for longer time than ‘Taker. ‘Taker or Michaels should be champs… There’s Chris jericho too, he is one of the best… There is Big Show, who is breaking his ass up everytime, he desserves the title… And don’t forget veterans like Regal, who is better than a lot of the “talent” in the roster and Regal has never been world champ…

mark henry is an abomination. whats this weird hogan thing he does with the crowd? anyone seen this?! like going to each of the arena pointing and then like raising his hand getting them to cheer exactly like hogan! wow mark, thats original! get christian off of ECW and see how he does

here is the top5 probelms with wwe right now i’ve been a loyal fan since 84 and this is the worst its ever been:
1)Randy Orton period not championship material how many matches has he won on his own sheesh!!!
2)Big Show has to wrestle alot better and carry a match he is no longer intimidating wats to fear about him spice him up a little
3)HHH and HBK as faces- they are so much better as heels restart a more mature heel version of DX would get fans hott again
4)legacy sucks man o man they are the worst faction in wwe history
5)CENA give this man a fresh start he does the same thing over and over again what is he vince boyfriend he gets to hold the belt every other month
