Original Plans for CM Punk vs. The Undertaker, Update on Pot Use in WWE, More

- In a correction from an earlier report, the fine for testing positive for marijuana in WWE was actually increased to $2,500, not $2,000. Naturally, this has talent who were getting fined regularly unhappy.

- During the month of the July, WWE drew 13.6 million unique visitors to its website and averaged 581 orders on WWEshop.com per day.

- Regarding CM Punk’s World Heavyweight Title defense against The Undertaker at this Sunday’s Breaking Point pay-per-view, plans called for Taker to beat Punk and win the title when the match was initially laid out. No word yet if those plans still stand. Punk will be defending his title in a Submission match.

i’d say have it end in a no contest to elevate a better build up for these two to lead into a match at the next pay-per-view in a hell in a cell match.

Agreed, let’s have Taker take the title, and Punk do the chasing for a change. It’d add some nice depth to Punk’s heel turn for his straightedge nonsense lose out, and him try to reinvent himself while trying to stay #1 contender.

Either way, no matter who wins, I think it’ll be Taker vs. Punk again at Hell In A Cell.

Can’t see Taker tapping though. And I doubt Punk can get disqualified in a submissions match. Not sure how this will pan out, should be interesting.
