News on Tonight’s SmackDown/NXT, WWE Hires New Exec

- WWE has hired former US Tennis Association executive Tandy O’Donoghue as vice president of operations and new business development. WWE has hired a number of former USTA execs recently.

- WWE will tape tonight’s SmackDown from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. NXT will air live tonight on the SyFy network at 9PM EST. RAW stars John Cena, Sheamus, Batista and Triple H are all advertised for tonight’s SmackDown tapings. The dark main event is Cena, Triple H, Rey Mysterio and Edge vs. Batista, CM Punk, Sheamus and Chris Jericho.
