News on RAW Tonight, Update on The Rock Possibly Hosting Monday Night RAW

- Tonight’s WWE RAW takes place from St. Louis, Missouri. Hollywood actor and former WWE creative team member Freddie Prinze Jr. will be tonight’s special guest host. The main event of tonight’s show will feature WWE Champion Randy Orton teaming with his SummerSlam opponent, John Cena as they face Unified tag champions Chris Jericho and The Big Show. There’s been no mention of the tag titles being on the line, so it appears to be a non-title match. The advertised dark main event is John Cena and Triple H vs. Orton and Big Show. We’ll see that dark match happens, given the fact that Orton and Big Show will wrestling in the televised main event.

- As an update to reports of WWE having interest in The Rock and Steve Austin as guest hosts on RAW, a report in the PWTorch Newsletter says that sources believe WWE might have already extended the invitation to The Rock. The recent Variety report on the guest hosting concept made no mention of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson being in talks to host, but the Torch’s report says that WWE has made its interest known–”the ball is in Johnson’s court,” reads the report.

people of WWE i have great news as it’s offical thet The Rock will be hosting RAW in September as for the last 2 weeks he has been negotiating personal terms.
From sources i can say that Steve Austin is also eyeing up a return before Christmas in early December.
