New WWE Trademark, Mysterio at MMA Show, WWE Receives Tax Credit?

- It’s believed that WWE got a tax credit from the State of North Carolina after the WWE TV tapings in Charlotte and Raleigh this past week. North Carolina reimburses TV producers 25% if they spend a minimum of $250,000 on production. WWE would have spent approximately $1.2 million producing RAW and SmackDown this week.

- WWE has applied for a trademark on the name The Nexus. Maybe this could be the new name for the NXT Season 1 Rookies?

- As noted before, Goldberg, Batista, Ernest Miller and Chavo Guerrero were at the Strikeforce MMA show in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Rey Mysterio was also there but pretty much stayed out of the spotlight.

Nexus sounds better than fortune for a stable name

Nexus sounds like something a mentally challenged person would say instead of next.

@ elfmenow or someone who doesn’t know the definition of Nexus. By the way, here it is.

    Nexus:

    1. a means of connection; tie; link.
    2. a connected series or group.
    3. the core or center, as of a matter or situation.
