If the WWE were to lose him after they lost their other #1 Jeff Hardy recently the fan base and viewership would tank dramatically. That’s why they moved Batista to Smackdown to try to get viewers to still watch.

Date: Oct 11, 2009 at 10:40 AMI’m sure Cena won’t win the title against Orton… but he won’t lose either. I believe the Iron match will end in a tie (something like 3 falls each after the 60 minutes).
Then, Cena didn’t lose, so he doesn’t have to quit Raw and Orton doesn’t win, but keeps his title. That means another Cena against Orton match (maybe the final one, I hope so) at the next PPV. That would be awful, I’m so tired of the same faces headlining Raw, espescially Super Cena.

If it didn’t work out WWE could just make up some bogus story about how he “went heel” to trick his rival or something stupid like they do anyway. Seems to me they are always throwing out stories that contradict something they’ve already done. This wouldn’t be anything new.
