Matt Hardy posted the following on his Twitter account today:

“Gotta state this. I’m sick & tired of being ‘hurt’, being misused, & not being shown the respect that I’ve earned-something has to change.”

Expect Hardy to talk about working the dirt sheets in a few minutes.

Matt always lived in the shadow of his brother, WWE never really cared about him. If you want change i would suggest calling it a career..

Hate to say it but Matt you’re not World Championship material you don’t have “it” like Jeff does or Edge both those two are outlandish and eccentric… Theirs really nothing about you that is, your like the Jannetty of the Hardy Boys you were bigger in that Tag Team then you are as a solo wrestler just being honest… but i do admit you do deserve more respect than you’ve been giving…

Maybe you should try reinventing yourself not just your attire which i see you’ve been doing (which was awful by the way the black Jacket? and Tights doesn’t fit yo) but everything else including that damn theme has well…

Personally I think Matt should go back to being a heel, he was way more entertaining as a heel then a babyface back when him and his brother were going at it… Heels usually earn more respect because of all the chaos they cause just look at Orton…

You gotta love fans on this site, that talk about this that or the other guy having “It”, as if they actually know what they’re talking about, and aren’t parroting what they’ve heard people like Michael Cole say. Just because you hear it on NXT, folks, doesn’t make it true. If that were the case, we’d have to believe that people like Bryan Danielson or Kaval don’t have what it takes to be a big star in this business.

As for Matt not having “It” like his brother Jeff, that’s bull. He’s ALWAYS been a better wrestler, a more humble person, and a harder worker than Jeff. He’s also not been the flake who shows up late, no shows, and has drugs problems like Jeff. The ONLY reason Jeff got World Titles rusn and he hasn’t, is because Jeff is flashy. Jeff is willing to jump off of high things, to make people cheer. Matt, on the other hand, is more of an old school WRESTLER.

As for Matt not having “It”, how would you expect him to have “IT”, when he doesn’t ever even get promo time, he doesn’t ever get the opportunity to even display a “character” these days, when he’s used at all. He absolutely can be a marquee champion, his time as “ECW Champ” proved that. His long fued with MVP over the US Championship proved that. Aside from dropping a few excess pounds he’s gained over the years, I’d say Matt absolutely has enough “IT” to be a top star. But apparently Vince, or Stephanie, etc., doesn’t think so.

But please remember, oh naive internet peoples. These are the same people who also doesn’t think that Christian, of all wrestlers, doesn’t have “IT”, to be a main eventer. Even though he was a very successful main eventer in TNA.

Matt Hardy needs to reinvent himself if he wants a change. He should turn heel, get a new outfit, cut his hair, get new music, a new finisher and…lose the gut.

Devil Rising, that was so ignorant. I believe no one know better than the people who have “IT”. You just happen to be one of those that are wrong.I mean, on this page alone, you are one of like, ten people who have something good to say about Matt. compare those statistics to the rest of the fans, how do you think its going to turn out? Matt has been in the buisness long enough to prove that he has “IT” and obviously he hasn’t impressed Vince or the creative team. Yeah, he does what he should, he obeys all the rules, but everything you do that the fans don’t see, will give you airtime, but its not going to give you a push. They’d rather have people than can get fans behind them, and obey the rules. Jeff was flashy, but he messed up too much so they got rid of him. Sent him over to TNA. as for Christian… well is it just me or does any star that leaves WWE and go to TNA do well? I think TNA is just desperate and pathetic. And I mean come on, Christian did do “well” there, but when he came back to WWE he got to be ECW champ and that’s it. Then he lost the title to EZIKEL JACKSON. Man, that’s got to say something about Christian, they chose Jackson over him to be the last ECW champ.

gotta agree with Devil_Rising here…. to me Matt Hardy is one of the most talented guys in the business, but for some reason Vince dont like em, just as he dont like Christian. someone above said that Jeff was more charismatic…. r you kidding me, he`s promos suck, he got to be world champion only because of his high risk moves, but other than that i dont think he`s any good. Back to Matt, he should lose wight, urgently cause he looks like crap now, aside from that he deserve almost more than anyone else at least one title run….. i do think this is staged though, hes gonna turn heel, at least thats my perception…

How foolish, to assume that people don’t know what they’re talking about just because they don’t agree with you. Devil Rising, I think it’s pretty well understood to some degree or other by most(if not all) fans that a wrestler that has ‘it’ is one with a spark of charisma/personality that motivates their fans to give a rat’s hindquarters about that particular wrestler’s matches, actions, and promos. The Rock had ‘it’. Steve Austin had ‘it’. Hulk Hogan had ‘it’. If you require further examples, please check the hall of fame.

Matt Hardy, sadly, does not have ‘it’. He’s a hard worker, no doubt. He’s a(moderately) talented wrestler, no doubt. And yet he’s a midcarder, and will always be, despite your arguments. Some people have it, some don’t. Calling people naive and claiming they don’t know what they’re talking about because one of your favorites doesn’t have the ability to get over with the fans makes you seem petty and small-minded.

    @ Mabry

There is a lot more to charisma than just giving a good promo.

Also, everybody commenting should just stop. The only guy that should be commenting on any article is Devil_Rising. Because clearly, at least according to him, he is the only one who knows anything about wrestling and everybody else is either stupid or ignorant.

    @ Juan.

You’re right. He was a good insecure heel with that one. And he doesn’t feel like WC material. Probably because he’s just not that good on the mic, his persona doesn’t stand out, and he’s associated himself with the high-flier gimmick for so long, it’s his style. Besides HBK and Savage’s elbow drops, many stars in that division have stuck to the mat for main and key moves.

@BRODY… please get your facts straight b4 u talk so much smack, about having it and what not… if you look at history its not only about what you call having “it” but rather the opportunity to display yourself in front of the crowd.. i couldnt agree more with devil rising… matt hardy has had great programs when given the opportunity… also u talk about how hulk hogan, steve austin and the rock all had it… im sure you never saw the fan reaction for stunning steve austin… a great wrestler just like matt but never was given a chance… think about that…

As a person who has seen Matt since day one, he does have “it”. He would not have survived this long without “it”. The problem is that he is injury prone and has had some bad luck. For those who didn’t see the heel years of Matt Hardy v.1 check out youtube or whatever. Matt has the skills to be main event however sometimes Matt does shoot himself in the foot with the stuff he does

I agree that Matt is the Owen of Hardys. For some reason WWE only has one brother win the World title and the other brother becomes a midcard guy. That is the same thing with tag teams. One guy becomes a maineventer and the other becomes a jobber. I hope Miz and Morrison prove me wrong.

hey, give him a script and a mic. I dont care how fat he is, get his behind to work. i think he has an ugly nose but that doesn’t indicate to me that he doesn’t have “it”. if anybody can actually remember any of his promos (as face) and tell me it was legitimately crap then correct me, ’cause i don’t remember. that doesn’t mean he sucks now, that’s just me.

@cody yeah your right and i know charisma isnt only giving good promos. My point is that i really dont find Jeff charismatic, i might be wrong, its just my perception. I also realise that Matt isnt very charismatic either, but he is entertaining, at least to me and maybe there lies the hole problem of this, its all a matter of point of view, and if wwe oficials dont like a guy, it desnt matter how many fans do(or viceversa).

    @ Mabry
Of course it matter what the fans think…Do you think Jeff became the world champion because Vince liked him. He became World Champion because the fans loved him and bought his t-shirts and arm bands. This is also why John Cena is the top wrestler in the WWE. Like him or not he sell more merchandise than anyone else. WWE is a business that wants as much of the fans money as possible and that is what makes you a champ.

He does belong in WWE along with Jeff but if he were to go to TNA he would be much more celebrated than right now in WWE i bet Dixie would love him in TNA and then it maybe more ladder matches would happen between the Hardys and 3D.

i agree with Devil_Rising he nailed it for the ones that say matt sucks or don’t have what it takes how long have you been watching wrestling ? i take it half of you never seen any of the matches the hardys had with the dudley boys or Edge and Christian they tore it the fuck up and if the tag team wwe has now would watch some of their matches and get a clue maybe the tag team division wouldn’t suck

TNA does not need Matt. The hardy boys will never be the team they used to be. They are alot older and with Matt being prone to injury he cannot be “extreme” again..

Dude, Matt has been in the buisness long enough to do something and to be used and he hasn’t. He doesn’t have “it” at all. Neither does Christian, just because they have been there for a long time means they are loyal. It means WWE likes them because they do work hard, they are decent, and good enough to be midcarders. That’s what they are going to be.
