Kaval Earns a WWE Championship Shot and Roster Spot

Posted by Marc Middleton on Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

- Kaval, mentored by Michelle McCool and Layla, was announced as the winner of WWE’s NXT season 2 tonight on SyFy.

Alex Riley, mentored by The Miz, was the first one to be eliminated tonight and it came down to Michael McGillicutty, mentored by Kofi Kingston, and Kaval.

As noted before, season 3 of NXT will begin next Tuesday night and will feature all Diva Rookies.

Kaval has earned a shot at a WWE championship on a future pay-per-view event and a roster spot on either RAW or SmackDown.

As Kaval was giving his speech tonight, the previous Rookies who were eliminated before tonight rushed the ring and attacked Kaval. The Pros from this season came down and brawled with them. It turned into a NXT 2 Rookies vs. NXT 2 Pros with Kaval brawl. Riley and McGillicutty came back down to work over Kaval. The show ended with Riley, McGillicutty, Husky Harris, Titus O’Neil and Lucky Cannon beating Kaval down in the ring with their finishers.

I wouldn’t have believed the voting unless Kaval won (congrats and well deserved), but Vince is still evil (for using Low-Ki and Danielson the way he has). Interesting to see how this angle plays out. Basically a new Nexus (Genesis?) on Smackdown perhaps without Kaval (just like without Bryan), except kind of different??

I just want to know why Alex Riley beat up P.Watson…. He ran in there and went after watson then threw him out of the ring.

Then like a min later they are both in the ring fighting kaval?

Its like he couldnt tell Percy from MVP. lol

Actually I think McGillicutty will be on his own with the whole Genesis thing. This one might actually come true where only 3 or 4 of the guys get actual contracts instead of having tools like Justin Gabriel with his one move and Michael Tarver with his…..umm….Scarf? clogging up MNR every week

Wow. So the stupid Nexus thing is going to keep going, with new members, huh? Lame.

Realistically speaking, WWE wouldn’t allow a bunch of loser rookies from their new show to highjack Raw the way they have, let alone let MORE future rookie rejects do the same thing.

Ok first off me 2 or whatever you want to be known as learn to spell, “Devil_Rising stfu u pesent no1 likes u ,,..u r pitiful” jeez….

Secondly its hardly a suprise that Kaval won considering he’s the IWC’S (Internet Wrestling Community) love child lol! EVERYBODYs in a frenzy over it. Yes I know I sound a tad biased but thats only because I wanted McGuillicutty to win considering I grew up watching Curt (Hennig) as a kid, but whatever as long as McGillicutty & Riley get a roster spot too alongside Kaval I dont care.

why give him a choice of rosters but tell him he has to take the wwe title shot? why not let him pick a roster and then get a shot at it’s champion?
