I was thinking originally, though, that somehow Truth was going to get hurt in the matchup on Raw and they were going to tease a mystery partner. With Miz saying how Morrison and Truth wasn’t a “real team” I figured a surprise return of Mercury was being set up. Still could happen, I guess.
Also, regarding Christian and Orton, I’m confused at what’s going on. First of all, I thought they were turning Orton face. Christian is way over as a face, so turning him heel against a newly turned face-Orton just doesn’t work. With their current characters, yes, it could work very well. The best and most reasonable way I could see this feud building is if Christian wins MITB and Orton challenging for the briefcase. Then, Vince could do his ultimate screw job to Christian having him lose the MITB briefcase to Orton and Orton eventually winning the belt from whomever.

for Ted to turn face. Look at it this way as besides Rey, Taker who hardly wrestles these days, Edge and kane what other top face is on smackdown worth a damn? as they have enough heels in Jericho (best imo) Batista, Cm Dunk, vince’s pet Drew, and I reckon Ezekiel Jackson will get a push as vinne does like the big boys.
