Hart Family Member Enters WWE Sponsored Rehab, SmackDown Diva Upset, Rochester

Posted by Daniel Pena on Friday, September 3rd, 2010

– Teddy Hart, the youngest wrestler to be signed to a WWE contract, recently entered a Texas area rehabilitation center on behalf of his former employer. He is staying at the same facility as former WWE performer Scott Hall.

Hart is claiming that he entered rehab at the urging of his uncle, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, who said that if he successfully completes the center’s program, would persuade WWE to give him another shot.

During his last run with AAA, Hart managed to unite the entire locker room against him due to his reputation of changing match finishes and spots to put himself over. His mentality is to perform as many flashy maneuvers in his matches as possible, whether they make sense or not. source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

– The Friday Night SmackDown television taping on December 28, 2010 will be held at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York. Tickets go on sale October 2, 2010. (Thanks to Devin Cutting)

– WWE Women’s Champion Layla is apparently through with Twitter for the time being as she wrote over the weekend that she ‘needs a break from some of the bs’ on the social networking site.

She tweeted, “I think I’m officially off Twitter I need a break from some of the bs on here Tired of some I****S!! Having easy access 2 Me Much luv Lay.”

The tweet came just hours after her response to recent jabs from TNA Wrestling performers “The Beautiful People” made its way onto a number of wrestling websites. There is an unconfirmed rumor going around saying that WWE brass caught wind of the “war of words” and became upset with Layla for taking part.

How many more chances does this screw up get? Teddy Hart had his chances, he blew them all, screw him.

Wow, thats a nice attitude to have for a family member “Just give up on him!”
Bret gives a damn about him, and how else will Teddy ever sort himself out if family turns its back on him.

how else will he sort himself out if he always has someone to bail him out “just one more time” before he gets it right?

sometimes, you have to know when to walk away, even if it is family.

CC, no one’s saying let him die in a ditch, but I don’t see how he deserves to get a job with the biggest company in wrestling when he can’t find ANYWHERE to work where he doesn’t get sent home because of his piss poor attitude. A WWE contract is a privilege, not a right, and he had numerous chances and he didn’t care enough to act appropriately to maintain it.

Sometimes you’ve gotta let a person hit bottom before they realize they’re screwing themselves. Happens all the time with family, friends, and whatnot. It’s tough love, but it’s gotta happen, because otherwise those people will never change. What’s the point of changing, when someone’s always going to be around to bail you out?

untill teddy hart admit he has a problem there really is nothing bret or wwe can do. Just like any addiction untill someone admits they have a problem only if teddy admit he has a problem he can then get help and get better. That is first step in the recovery process.
