Freddy Kruger Turns Down RAW, Kofi Kingston’s SummerSlam Opponent?, DX

- While it’s been rumored that Kofi Kingston will defend his United States Title at SummerSlam against Jack Swagger, The Miz has also been discussed as a possible opponent. Swagger seems more likely as there’s not much time left and they haven’t done anything with Miz and Kofi.

- Robert Englund as horror icon Freddy Kruger will not be hosting an edition of WWE’s Monday Night RAW. According to his agent, WWE asked him to host but he turned it down due to a scheduling conflict.

- In addition to Freddie Prinze Jr. as guest host and the tag match with Randy Orton and John Cena vs. Big Show and Chris Jericho, next week’s live RAW from St. Louis will also feature the live RAW reunion of Shawn Michaels and Triple H as DX.

    Let me be the first to say……ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahah…..Freddy Kruger are you kidding me!!!!????? Why not Jason and the Pruppet Master, and Hellraiser. WWE is very nieve if they think this crap will pull in ratings.

    Chucky was actually on WCW once back in the day. Some lame thing involving Rick Steiner I believe.
