Maryse vs Evehow good a wrestling match will tha- sorry I fell asleep just thinking about it pretty sad that even when Raw is in the UK we would rather watch Impact and before you all say Raws on late its actually on a Thursday as well and most people watch it then and before you all say about how you have to pay extra for sky sports well the thing is Impact is getting the highest ratings in wrestling history better than when Nitro was on Bravo or when smackdown was on free tv also TNA sold out wembley arena and the M.E.N arenafor a house show wwe couldn’t do either for a tv taping

tna didnt sell the men out, not to its full capacity anyways of 20000+ its was cut off so it wasnt even half that. i do like tna an go to the shows over here but i have been to the impact zone as well but none of it compares to a wrestlemania event, 24 was just mind blowing and althought 25 was a boring event seeing 75 000+ in the arena was awesome,
raw in on 3 times a week where as impact is on twice so over all raw gets more viewers but impact get more viewers on its first run, as its on at 9pm on a sat, not 2am on a tuesday morning,

Raw must be good because it has been around for many years and look at tna being around since 2000 maybe

I’m going to the RAW taping at the 02, first live show I’ve been to since a house one in 2007 (Main Event had Benoit in a title match, so yeh… long time ago).

Nice to see a title match on the TV side of things but I can’t remember the last time a title changed hands in my fair country :(

Also, WWE should bring Summerslam back to the UK at the new Wembley stadium (the rest are too ‘big’ to realisticly be staged here). With it being closer to Europe there’ll be NO problem at all filling it up to the 80,000+ seats that the wrestling setup would give.

No bloody way is TNA outdoing WWE over here.
WWE consistantly sells out at Wembley Arena etc, and its over here much more, meaning that people do not grow tired with it.
    As for TNA on Bravo.
Once again, I point to the fact that a) WWE is on Sky sports, a pay service, and b) you have to take both showings of Raw into consideration as people who watch RAW live dont tend to watch the replay, and those that watch the repeat dont watch it live.

Its simple logic that you cannot compare a single showing of RAW to iMpact.
Dont forget, the reason TNA is cancelling their repeat show is that they say that a repeat show on the Thurs takes viewers away from Monday night, or are you trying to say TNA is wrong, Scooter?

You can bet your bottom dollar that if WWE only had one showing, at a reasonable hour over here, that it would be out doing TNA no problem.

Also comparing figures to that of Nitro over here is laughable, as back then, most people didnt have Sky tv, and cable wasnt even over here.

Ted Dibiase jr and the million dollar belt. I like it. The belt itself gives him a good gimmick where he puts it up and cheats to retain it, just like his father did.

Still doesn’t change the fact that TNA is drawing better than when raw was on free TV and when bringing into consideration Bravos audience are typically young men to pull good ratings on a saturday night is incredible raw tries to draw kids thats why its main showing is on a Friday at 5-7 the reason wwe does not draw then is because that’s when family entertainment is generally on TV which is what the wwe are trying to do but so many parents likely don’t want to watch wwe that the kids can’t watch it and until recently Smackdown had been back on sky one explain who TNA drew bigger than then? and how are repeats trustworthy when calculating ratings around 40-50% of those people are probably re-watching (strange I can hardly handle watching raw once these people must just have a thing for pain)

million dollar belt or not, dibiase jr still has zero charisma, and i find him boring in the ring, he is not a patch on his father and never will be. i see him as no better than cody.

Scooter, I really do not know where you get your facts from, but I cant even remember the last time RAW was on free tv. To my knowledge its only ever been on pay channels like Sky Sports. Yes SD used to be replayed on Sat afternoons on Sky One, but RAW never was.

Now I know you are a total TNA mark, but there is no way on Earth that WWE is not drawing over here.
The UK and Spain are two of their biggest markets at the moment, hence their more regular European tours, and their push to sign more European talent.

As I say, if you say repeats are not trustworthy, firstly how can you pull out a figure saying 40-50% of people are watching the show again (please show me your proof of that), and secondly you are also saying that TNA and Spike tv are wrong that the repeat showing of iMpact is taking viewing figures away from Monday night.
Quite frankly, as much as I think TNA management are a joke, I’m sure Spike TV know what they are talking about when it comes to viewing figures and trends.

Simple fact is, seeing as TNA probably dont get big money from stations like Bravo, and are not touring worldwide anywhere near as much as WWE, then they need better figures in the USA.
If they cant draw there, then they will not last, no matter how many brain dead people in the UK watch it.
Its worth nothing to them as they are not a true international company yet.
