- WWE talent and legacy member Cody Rhodes was recently interviewed by the Busted Open radio show and stated that he prefered NWA to WWF when growing up.

“So many other talents my age grew up watching the WWF and grew up watching The Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, and Randy Savage – excellent performers,” Rhodes said. “

He also mentions how he feels there was more of an edge to the NWA and how he hopes to bring that over to WWE.

In the interview, Rhodes also mentioned he was unhappy about not been given a free copy of “The Rise and Fall of WCW” DVD.

“I was real hot about this.” Normally our company will give them out. I did not receive one from talent relations, and I asked why. I asked why did I get a DVD and I was told, ‘Well, you lived this.” Yeah, I was around for some of the stuff, but I didn’t live it.”
