Chris Jericho Says He’s Returning To WWE Following “Dancing with the Stars”

Chris Jericho indicated to wrestling fans in a video message that he will be returning to WWE following his run on Dancing with the Stars.

“When I come back to WWE when this show is done, we can continue right where we picked off. You can boo and cheer and yell,” Jericho stated.

Jericho is asking that WWE Universe members pay him back for his many years of entertaining audiences and putting his body on the line by continuing to vote for him on Dancing with the Stars. He says the longer he stays on the program, the better it is for the entire WWE Universe.

“I’m taking this universe into places we haven’t been,” Jericho said. “Twenty-three million people watch Dancing with the Stars every week. The Tonight Show, Rachael Ray, Ellen, all these people are starting to understand what it is that we do as WWE Superstars and why the WWE Universe is so loyal.

“I think it’s very important to remember, it’s not just me I’m representing. I’m a pioneer, an ambassador for WWE on this show. Continue to vote for me.”

Jericho’s next performance takes place Monday. He is among the show’s final eight contestants.

YES!!!!!!!! Y2J is back baby! Can’t help but notice the timing with Edge retiring. Like I said before, Vince probably called him right when it happened and told him he needed him back. I’m sure Jericho was more than happy to oblige, and I’m sure he’ll get a nice deal too. Sweet!

I don’t know if he is just teasing the fans or being honest… Not to long ago he stated he would never reveal his return because it wouldn’t be a surprise… hmm.

He isn’t revealing his exact return date. We won’t know for sure when it is. It will still be a surprise.

It was noted, Y2J would be back to wwe eventually ages ago…
Saying hes coming back after the show doesn’t mean exactly after, it could still be months before we see him in the squared circle again.
Don’t read to much into this, is my advice

I dunno if this means he will be coming straight back, just that he will be returning at some point. For starters, he is doing a Fozzy tour in Europe in July, so he may not return til after that as otherwise he will have to take time off within weeks of returning.

As much as I Love y2j, I want to see him in spandex inside the squared circle.. not on the dance floor… so why should i vote for him. Wouldnt that just make his absence longer..
I mean im still gonna vote for the guy.. but the way he says its good for the WWe universe to vote for him to stay on a show that not Raw smackdown NXT or even superstars is kinda weird.. and alittle contradictory

No it doesn’t matter when he gets eliminated upon his return most likely he wouldn’t return to after the entire show is done. Though the show may be live or not it looks more professional.

I think the earliest he returns is in August anyways, so where he finishes on the show doesn’t matter. He might as well win!

When Jericho returns, & this is just an idea, I think that he should return as the leader of the Corre. His titantron could be the red matrix, to match with the Corre colors, & I think he could take the group to a main event status. If not, then I hope he returns as Y2J!
