Bret Hart In Talks With WWE Regarding Possible Return, Hart Dynasty Member Learns Japanese

Posted by Daniel Pena on Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

– Bret Hart has had discussions with WWE officials in recent months and is now open to the idea of returning as a regular television character, reports www.f4wonline.com.

It should be noted, however, that he would not come as a full-time wrestler considering he’s 52 years old and has not wrestled since suffering head injuries (and later a stroke) a decade ago. Instead, it’s being speculated that he may return as a general manager should he decide to come back.

– WWE is returning to the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia on Friday, February 5th, and there will be a Ticketmaster.com pre-sale this Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pre-sale code is CHAMPISHERE1. (Thanks to Devin Cutting)

– Hart Dynasty member David Hart Smith revealed on his MySpace page that he’s learning Japanese.

“Learning to speak and read Japanese,” Smith wrote. “Rosetta Stone is awesome!”

Please, please, please DROP THE GUEST HOST GIMMICK and bring in The Hitman as Raw GM! This is money if WWE wants to start their ratings in the right direction. Obviously, if Bret were to come in, I think he’d make it clear what kind of control he’d have over his character (since he’d basically be playing himself). That way, Vince can’t just use it as an opportunity to humiliate him (see: Eric Bischoff).

Bret, dont do it. WWE is a circus, that has 5% focus on actual ability and art form. Dont do it Bret.

u do realize that bret Hart was never a good talker on the mic. One of the main reasons why he always wore those shades when talking to the mic and staring at a camera was because he was camera shy.

ryan, that was his earlier career, his mic work progressed throughout his wwf tenure. by 1996 he was in all actuality one of the best promo guys on the roster. when hewas doing the USA vs. canada angle he was delivering the best in ring promos of the year.
