- There are reports that WWE officials are upset with Chris Jericho over his new role as host of a game show on ABC. Apparently WWE told Jericho last week that they wanted him to back out of the show but he talked them into letting him stay on it.

- As noted before, Mark Feuerstein of USA Network’s Royal Pains will be the special guest host of next week’s RAW. WWE’s website notes that SmackDown Superstar Big Show will be hosting with Feuerstein next week. Show will be appearing on an upcoming episode of Royal Pains.

- Triple H is currently in New Orleans filming his first WWE movie, The Chaperone. Word is that Triple H will be there for the next three weeks filming. There is talk that Triple H will be returning in time for August’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.

    The conversation went like this
Vince: I own you’re soul Chris if you don’t back out of that show then I’ll fire you’re ass
Jericho: yeah who you gonna replace me with Vince you haven’t made any stars in the last 5 years
Vince: crap fine do the show

Actually, its probably more of a case that the contract Jericho signed when he returned, included his option to do other media stuff, hence the reason he can still record and tour with Fozzy, and that his upcoming second book isnt being published by WWE.
WWE probably doesnt get choices in things that dont involve wrestling.

I am guessing Vince doesn’t care what Chris does as much as NBC-Universal does since all but smackdown is on their networks and even that will be in October. They probably arnt happy a star will be on a different network

How can Jericho be a gameshow host with his current heel personality, I don’t want to see it but WWE will probably turn him face. Either that or they won’t mention it or bring up the comparison. Will it be advertised during WWE timeslots as it is on another network? I hope NXT rookies take out the Bigshow but he gets a few shots in and it leads to a match(s) next week or on Smackdown, in fact this angle should be on Superstars too to boost ratings
