Backstage Heat on A New WWE Star

- WWE newcomer Alberto Del Rio has already developed a negative reputation among those in the locker room. He has complained to fellow wrestlers about the company’s decision to remove the mask he famously wore for a number of years in Mexico.

Many in the locker room feel he should be thrilled with the push WWE officials have given him thus far rather than complaining about issues with creative.

Have you seen thoses promos on smackdown about him? He also used to be known as Dos Caras Jr.

I don’t get it. If I’m getting all these vignettes promoting his debut, I’ll keep my damn mouth shut!. But not this kid.
Also these ads are freaking annoying. The freaking thing popped up while I was typing this lol

His vignettes on Smackdown have been pretty weak, and they keep repeating them (I could’ve sworn they played the SAME exact one twice on one show and/or back to back weeks). I do however look forward to his television in-ring debut.

He’s the taco bell guy. Mute one of his promos and ad lib lines about him asking if you want nachos with your order. My kids laugh at him when his promos start now.
And maybe that sounds a tad racist, but to be fair, we also tried ad libbing lines with him working at Jack in the Box and Kfc, and they didn’t work nearly so well.

He should be happy, I suppose, to be getting pushed. But I don’t think you realize how important masks are to Mexican wrestlers who wear them. Especially when he goes back to Mexico, it’s kind of like he’s losing face a bit with fans who knew him as Dos Caras Jr.

Agree with Devil Rising. Especially when they lose interest in him all of a sudden and he has to go back.
