– WWE’s WrestleMania 29 special on NBC Saturday night averaged 1.92 million viewers, down 30% from the WrestleMania 28 special that aired on August 25th of last year.
– Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Norichika Aoki came to the plate using Fandango’s theme song on July 25th and hit his first home run in two and a half months Because of how superstitious some baseball players are, Aoki said after the game that he wants Fandango’s theme song played every time he comes to bat. Aoki had never heard of Fandango but now wears his t-shirt, that was sent in by WWE. Aoki isn’t a wrestling fan but Brewers Senior Director of Media Relations Mike Vassalo is and Fandango is his favorite wrestler. Vassalo suggested that Aoki start using Fandango’s theme.
