Posted by Marc Middleton on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

- According to The UK Sun, Quinton Rampage Jackson is set to play the role of B.A. Baracus in the remake of The A-Team. The studio has made no official announcement of Jackson being offered or accepting the role. Liam Neeson is playing Col. John “Hannibal” Smith and Bradley Cooper (The Hangover) will play Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck.

Jackson has had previous experience in film and TV, with roles in Never Surrender, Hell’s Chain and The King of Queens. The A-Team is in pre-production, and is set for a June, 2010 release date. Jackson will fight at UFC 107 in Memphis, against fellow Ultimate Fighter coach Rashad Evans. If Jackson has indeed taken the role, he may have to take some time off of fighting for shooting.

I though Bobby Lashley would have been a great B.A hes big and soft spoke like Mr.T give him a mohawk and the gold he’d have been great. I can’t imagine Mr.T is happy with this choice he’s always tried to be a good role model to kids and rampage is well..not exactly that with his criminal record. I like the other 2 choices I think it be nice if Dirk Bennidict made a apperance in the movie somewere seeing as he’s the only guy that would probably do it.

Seriosly people, Jackson has the look, the size, Bobby Lashley is to baby faced for it, jackson has that definate hard BA look.
By the way Mr T was no angel in his youth if you ever meet him ask him about the guys who mugged his mother many years ago, all he will tell you is ( THEY AINT AROUND NO MORE.)

If they seriously want this film to work they need to make his character work right, and just for information the A-team was written because DAvid j cannell the director loved Mr T’s persona.
    Jackson gets my vote.
