- According to SI.com, M-1 Global executive Apy Echteld has told Sports Illustrated that the Los Angeles Times regarding Fedor signing with the UFC is not true. Echteld stated the following…

“I can give you a guarantee it’s not accurate.”

Fedor Emelianenko will address the media at a press conference today in Anaheim, California, while the UFC has a press conference scheduled for Friday. It should be interesting to see what happens between now and Friday.

- According to sherdog.com, a heavyweight bout between Ben Rothwell and Chase Gormley has been added to UFC 104. The bout was previously scheduled for the recently cancelled Affliction: Trilogy event. Here is the updated card for UFC 104, which takes place on October 24th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles:

* UFC Light Heavyweight Title Bout: Lyoto Machida © vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua
* Shane Carwin vs. Cain Velasquez
