Spoilers TNA iMPACT Tapings – September 23rd

- Thanks to Mason for the following TNA iMPACT spoilers, set to air on September 23rd. If you have a more detailed report, please feel free to send it in.

* My friend said that Xplosion matches saw Orlando Jordan beat Suicide, Raven/Stevie Richards beat Matt Morgan/Douglas Williams and Rob Terry defeat Eric Young.

* I arrived a bit late but Rob Terry beat Abyss by DQ. Rob Van Dam returned and was held by security. Eric Bischoff came out and RVD demanded a match with Abyss at Bound For Glory. The match is confirmed.

* The Pope came out and cut a promo about wanting a shot and not getting it. Bischoff said they could talk about it in the back.

* Taylor Wilde and Hamada defended the Knockout Tag Titles against Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich when Taylor pinned Lacey. Madison Rayne came down and hit Lacey with a biker helmet before the end. Angelina Love came down to help Lacey.

* Chris Sabin beat Jeremy Buck in a good match. Generation Me attacked Sabin after the match and took his belt.

* Samoa Joe beat The Pope. Pope was distracted by Jeff Jarrett, Sting and Kevin Nash on the outside. Joe also brawled after the match.

* Kurt Angle did a promo with Mr. Anderson and said he would retire at Bound For Glory if he didn’t win the TNA World Title.

* AJ Styles beat Sabu in a ladder match. This gives AJ’s Fortune team the advantage in Lethal Lockdown at Bound For Glory. The finish saw a brawl at ringside with Fortune and EV 2.0. Sabu got hit by a beer bottle and pinned.

* Abyss came out carrying Jeff Hardy who was out. Rob Van Dam came out and started to brawl with Abyss. Abyss was going to use Janice on RVD but Ink Inc. made the save.

Does anyone think that Chris Jericho’s retirement or quitting(wateva u wanna call it) stipulation is just ripping of Kurt Angle’s one?

Yes, when there isn’t a championship on the line, you pin your opponent. What the hell else are they supposed to grab? A piece of paper that says, “Congrats! You won the ladder match!”???

@Dale nope jericho needs a way out and besides with the exception of the top 10 part which is now over it had been done before

Dale you dummy Jerichos contract is expiring in October. Kurt Angles is a storyline he has a year left on his contract and wwe has to find a way to write Jericho out. How the hell is Rvd back so fast? This is why Tna storylines are dumb. Rvd got attacked a month ago and they played it off as 117 stitches, lung contusion, and like he was dying thats ridiculous.

@the real wrestling god..you r 100 percent right..if anybody really got hit my janice they would be inactive for like 6 months..thats realistic..but i guess they didn’t want him to miss bound for glory..i totally predicted that he would be back for tna’s biggest pay per view

Jericho is doing a tour down in australia with fozzy so that’s why they have taken him out
