TNA Stops Airing iMPACT Replays, RVD on TNA Live Events

Posted by Marc Middleton on Saturday, March 13th, 2010

- Dixie Carter announced on Twitter that Rob Van Dam will make his TNA live event debut at the shows on April 22nd and 23rd in Macon and Albany, Georgia.

- TNA and Spike TV have decided to stop airing the iMPACT replay on Thursday nights, despite the rating it received this past Thursday night. Apparently some in TNA are concerned that such a high rating for the replay might hurt Monday’s ratings.

That’s good for tna. I watched raw Monday night cuz I knew about the impact replay Thursday. I think wwe will kill tna in ratings again Monday cuz of stone cold hosting but after that tna should gain momentum and hopefully catch up to raw soon

makes sense, maybe it make more sense to stick to thursday nights, and not compete with raw during wrestlemania time!

Dvr’s are a great thing, two things can record at once… Wup, the cable companies are already paying for that mistake…

people, if you can’t watch Impact on Mondays, ether DVR it or watch it on Spike TV’s website, Spike TV has been posting full episodes for a while now.

al said what ive been thinking for a while. i appreciate the ambition of TNA but Hogan should know better than to start at the peak of Wrestlemania build-up. plus, ratings wouldnt be competitive at all if you can watch one of the other shows on another night so i understand pulling the replay. its a double-edged sword though.

That is to be expected. If they really want to compete with WWE (snicker), they need to cut all replays. I have DVR so I’m not worried.

TNA should do the replay like WCW did. In my opinion WWE has been worth missing for some time now.
