Date: Feb 12, 2010 at 1:00 PMOkay now Kong is just being arrogant. Be glad you still have a job and no one was harmed. Refusing to go on the UK tour is the equivalent of a boss telling his employee to write a letter and the employee says no. It’s disrespect.
What Bubba did was also disrespect. But two wrongs on’t make a right.

Date: Feb 12, 2010 at 2:15 PMThe ratings will be better because it will be live. The ratings can go down when you can read the results ahead of time. This is definitely a good move for TNA especially when Raw is not at its best. U SMART HOGAN U SMART!!!

Date: Feb 12, 2010 at 3:11 PMRAW hasn’t been at it’s best since 2001. Wrestling on the whole has been on a downward slide over the years, but now with all the interest over Bret and Hogan, this is the perfect time to pull the trigger on the Monday Night Wars part 2.

Date: Feb 12, 2010 at 3:50 PMi think TNA should move to tuesday with a live show and first beat NXT in the ratings. IF they can beat that show in ratings then i would move to monday nights.

Date: Feb 12, 2010 at 4:55 PMIt’s such a stupid time to move to Mondays, TNA! WWE is building the hype now for WrestleMania. The Break-up of Legacy is an interesting stoyline. The confused Shawn Michaels thing is awesomely played. And just wanting to see who will main-event WrestleMania on the RAW side will make every fan ignore TNA.

Date: Feb 12, 2010 at 7:57 PMWCW had the money to bring talent in and move around the country to be live on monday nights. TNA being in the same place every monday and then holding live events through out the week isn’t really going to cut it. I understand they will come out strong but if they really want to run the table and be better than WCW and WWE then they need to move around and let people enjoy Monday night wars in a live atmosphere. IMO

Date: Feb 12, 2010 at 8:16 PMTNA will never compete with WWE on mondays or any day if they dont travel to other places. wwe packs bout 20,000 a crowd, while tna has bout what 2,000.

Date: Feb 12, 2010 at 9:41 PMI find it amazing that anyone is actually standing up for some chump stain nobody radio jockey like “Bubba”, who has nothing to do with the wrestling business, and SHOULD have nothing to do with it now.
And what he said about Haiti DESERVED getting punched for, by ANYONE, black white or purple, any time, anywhere. F**k that idiot. And anyone who defends him.

Date: Feb 12, 2010 at 9:48 PMThere aren’t going to be any Monday night wars. Only naive hopefuls think that. TNA will go to Mondays, won’t go anywhere, we’ll see a 6-month tirade of TNA doing everything humanly possible to get more ratings. It won’t work, they’ll give up and there goes TNA. Opinion? Yes. Fact? No.
But it’s all in the numbers and the history books. Bookmark these words.

And I agree with you,Devil_Rising. Bubba the **** sponge is nothing but Hogan’s **** wiper. And anyone who says something bad about what happened in Haiti is immature and has no heart at all.

Date: Feb 13, 2010 at 11:37 AMI think going against RAW is a risky move one that I wouldn’t personally take at least not yet. I do not believe that TNA has a roster that can create a huge enough fan base to compete and even worse some of their biggest stars like Kurt Angle want more time off or is rarely seen like Sting.
I don’t know how much TNA can still afford to spend but I think they need to have a larger roster even if it was young guys that they can push and try to make stars out of and simple make jobbers out of those who don’t get fan reactions.
Anyways I guess we are back on the whole Kong/Bubba (their names almost make them sound like they would make a good couple) thing.
While I don’t agree with Kong’s attack on Bubba. I think even Bubba has now learned that saying things can have consequences. There is no doubt a conduct clause in all of TNA’s contracts meaning your conduct if frowned upon even outside of your place of work can lead to termination. I believe Bubba should have been sacked as not doubt he offended even TNA fans which has the potential to hurt TNA. But hes Hogan’s little suck up so of course that did not happen.
I wonder how the foolish people who stand by him would have reacted if instead of Hatti his comments were about New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. One can easily apply his despicable “logic” of why we should not help others to that event.
““I say f*ck Haiti. Why do we have to take care of everybody our country is in shambles.” ”
This can easily to changed into ” I say f*uck New Orleans. Why do we have to take care of everybody the rest of our country is in shambles”
If someone has the ability to devalue human life even in massive numbers I find it doubtful that Bubba would care if the victims are Haitians or Americans. Once you reach that extreme its clear that he is a man places no value on human life in general.

Date: Feb 13, 2010 at 10:43 PMAs much as I want to see TNA go to monday nights, now is definitely not the time for them to do that. If they do that when WWE has several good storylines going, they will only hurt themselves. I’m hoping that the big announcement on monday is that they’ve signed the following people: Tommy Dreamer, RVD, Sabu, and even The Sandman.
If they can get those four to sign, I think that there will be alot of ECW fans who were around when it was truly ECW, who will tune into TNA without hesitation and give them the ratings they need to be able to go head to head on monday nights with RAW, just because somebody has finally brought back the guys who can help Hogan, Bischoff, and Dixie Carter take this company to a whole new level.
As for Awesome Kong, as much as I disagree with her refusing to participate in the UK tour, which she was getting paid to do, and she got what she deserved, I can kinda understand her frustration with the company for not paying her as much as she should be getting paid, and because that bulbous knucklehead bubba “love sponge” was running his mouth about something he shouldn’t have been, and he got what he deserved when she cold-clocked him. Maybe next time he’ll think about when and what to say.

Date: Feb 14, 2010 at 4:32 AMTNA really needs to put together a few decent Impact’s before people will turn over to them. Impact has been a dire mess of a show for months now. Also until they actually move out of a studio with 800 (mainly free) fans and actually start drawing fans regularly on the road TNA has no chance of being competing with WWE. WCW even at its worst still drew way more at live events than TNA.
