Sting Retiring at TNA’s Bound For Glory?, More TNA Releases Expected Soon

Posted by Marc Middleton on Monday, August 3rd, 2009

- Still more TNA departures are expected to come this week. Last week’s releases of Dutch Mantel and Savio Vega have caused a number of people backstage to be worried about their job. A source reports that Jeff Jarrett was not involved in the decision making for Dutch and Vega’s release.

- Radio advertisements in Los Angeles for the October TNA Bound For Glory pay-per-view in Irvine, California are teasing that former World Champion Sting will have his final match at the pay-per-view. No word yet if this will be Sting’s last match or what but he is from California so the interest would be there.

Maybe it’ll be Sting’s last match in TNA before he joins WWE to have his retirement match at WrestleMania against The Nature Boy, Ric Flair. Hey… a guy can dream….

Well i really doubt sting will retire this year at BFG hasn’t he said that the past few BFGS?? same with Undertaker teasing a retirement at Wrestlemania but if it’s true that Would kinda suck im a huge sting fan would hate to see him retire but its best for the busines if he retires someone young could replace his spot this is what TNA needs new up and coming stars and for the old ones like sting, kevin nash to step away from the spot light instead of trying to hog it away

sting said last year this would be his last year and being as big a christian he is that hed never work for vince since he likes to think of himselve as the devil most the time. as for taker hes retiring cause hes tired of being injured by the new wrestlers that have no clue what they are doing. being that both sting and taker are my favorite two i follow everything i can bout them and wont be watching much anymore if they do leave
