Hulk and Flair are both legends in the business. They’re obviously trying to get Abyss and AJ really over by having them in this match. Trust me it’s better than the shit they’ve been putting on WWE. For example, last night’s Raw was one of the worse I’ve seen in watching the show since it began. How can you devote nearly twenty minutes of that Jerry Springer crap to a wrestling show when you could have put on some good wrestling bouts and build your characters? I counted just four matches during that whole show. Ridiculous… All I’ve seen is wrestling from TNA and hopefully that will continue.

This isnt a permanent things you idiots. Point blank, Hogan in the ring, will open the door for the younger guys because guess what, 3/4 of the country has no idea who AJ styles is. EVERYONE knows who Hulk Hogan is.

This will make people tune in to see Hogan, then they can see the other guyys that really make TNA what it is.

Or, you condescending little schmucks, it’s a case of putting one guy who has a hip that barely functions anymore by his own admission with a guy who isn’t the best wrestler in the world despite being a solid big man and TNA original against arguably one of TNA’s top three talents and Ric Flair, who can still do it and do it well but he’s also not getting younger.

My point was that if TNA wants to be taken seriously and seriously compete with WWE, putting two guys WWE got their money’s worth out of 20 years ago is not the way to do it. I can’t believe that they can come so far and build so much momentum, only to then turn around and put all the emphasis on guys who should be managers at best at this point in their careers. Do you not realize that this is the first show in the beginning of the new alleged Monday Night War? If this is what they think will make TNA a big deal, then I think they’re shooting themselves in the foot right out of the gate. Have Hogan in Abyss’ corner if he needs to be out there so much to counteract Flair, but he has no business in the ring. Do all of you that are so quick to jump on anyone who dares to question the logic of this really want to see this match?

I want TNA to succeed, because I actually think they can, but I don’t have any desire to watch Hogan and Flair as halves of a tag team. And if people will tune in because they want to see Hogan, what happened on January 4th? They didn’t exactly set the world on fire. The ratings jumped, but they will when you build up that one day for months straight, and then they dropped again, so whatever interest people had in Hogan wasn’t sustained. But don’t listen to me, I’m just looking at this from the point of view that TNA has too strong a roster to keep putting these guys in the spotlight, whether it be in the ring or on the mic.

All you people do is just complain and complain. “TNA is gonna die”, “TNA is the new WCW” “TNA this” “TNA that”. If you dont like it, then DONT WATCH IT!!!!

This is just the beginning of a new TNA, there are lots of changes, and more to come.. They are exploring possibilities and see what works and what doesnt.

Hogan and Flair wrestling on the first TNA live show isnt a bad thing at all. I would damn sure want to watch that. Of course I dont wanna see them wrestle every time. I wanna see younger talent, but just like someone above said, this isnt a permanent thing, this will just make people tune in.

Going out of business for the last 8yrs so explain where the money to hire Bishop, Hogan, Flair and all the others is coming from? Try making some sense, would you explain your statment? Have checks been bouncing? Have production values gone done, no more pyro? Have wrestlers been let go as cost saving measures? Are wrestlers avioding going to TNA because they know that TNA cant afford to pay them? Please I would love to know?? Oh is it because you dont like TNA? If you dont like McDonalds does that mean they are doomed!!!

this is just the start of Hogan in the ring MUCH more, he is so ego driven that he will believe he is the only one there who can push up the ratings because its going to go down. Basically, everyone who watches TNA watches RAW. I will say they will be lucky to be at 0.8 on a regular basis

LOL amen to Valo. listen I know you guys wanna see TNA succeed because WWE is struggling but can we think LOGICALLY for a sec? 3rd party view.
History: everyone knows it. Don’t even attempt to discard it. It’s real, WCW happened & if you don’t know history shut your mouth.
Age: Jesus Christ they are both old as dirt but now they’re wrestling? Really? Seriously? Managers. Never enough managers
And finally Ego: I dare some idiot to say that Hulk doesn’t have an ego. Ric gets a pass… because after 23 marriages he needs the cash.
I’m sorry if my logic was to much for you guys… Anyone like football?

Look at the hypocrites. I seem to remember everyone cheering for Hogan when he came back in 06 to face Orton.

but once they are only old and washed up when they are in TNA.

And it’s only bad when TNA does it

Also you wanna talk age? You guys marked out for bret and some of ya’ll werre hoping his old ass will be in the ring at Mania!

Also scooter I have a feeling you were in diapers when the fricking MNW happened? How is TNA going out of business?

Not every company that’s loosing to WWE is gonna be bought! That means half the idies we seen would have already been bought.

Oh and when Ric Flair came back last year you all marked out. We’re all hoping The Rock will lace his boots up one more time as ell. We hope Austin as well.

But like I said they only realise they are old when they are in TNA.

Edgehead they aren’t TNA’S!!!! They got old in WWE and they’re old now. The fact that TNA wants these oldies is bad enough but the fact that TNA has fans sticking up for these old losers is even worse.
    Bret should be done too!!
    Ric sucked last year.
    And I cheered Orton btw

well, i would like to see Bret wrestle again. and IF its like more than 3 matches, thems probably the breaks. i was bored with the hogan matches in his 2nd tenure in wwe, and i think he should be limitated.if thats a word.

Hogan back for Orton should have served a purposed for “the Legend Killer” but we all know the end result and it was a one off, if this wrestling in TNA is a one off then fine, but it will become monthly eventually I think
