RVD Comments on the TNA Rumors

Posted by Marc Middleton on Friday, March 5th, 2010

- The big news yesterday came from a radio appearance by Hulk Hogan where he talked about a major name that just signed with TNA and strongly implied that the major name is Rob Van Dam. RVD posted a message on his official website stating:

“Wow, my phone has been buzzing all day, and not just because the room’s been smokey. Ever have one of those days where you can’t send out a text before two texts interrupt you. My attention span has been so distracted, I forget who I’ve called by the time the phone stops ringing and someone answers all the time. And not just because the room is smokey either.”

Van Dam stated that he’ll be making a number of radio appearances this morning (Friday) to address the TNA rumors. Van Dam appeared on Greenville, South Carolina’s New Rock 93.3 station this morning and said the following about signing with TNA:

“I would say there is a high probability that that’s going to happen. The official word is that it’s still rumor and I haven’t officially signed anything. It’s been well-publicized news that I’ve been talking to both WWE and TNA. But, talks with TNA are sounding really good lately.”

WWE will mis-use RVD, or he will fail the wellness policy. so maybe he is better off in tna

Out of the two companies RVD would certainly do more to help TNA. I simply can’t imagine RVD being in a PG show. Also at least TNA would give him a chance to talk other than saying “That’s cool”.

RVD overall would be bigger star in the WWE but he’d be bigger star inside TNA, i mean he would be booked as bigger star. In WWE RAW he may get a shot at the title and then dropped to the upper-midcard, on SD he could win the World Title. In TNA definitely he would win the big one.

Allen Micichael obviouly doesnt realize whagt a wrestler goes through with his body. Compared to the career killers of pain killers, cocaine, speed, sleeping pills, alcohalism and other body damaging drugs. Pot has never killed a wrestler. Pot is healthier then a pain killer.
On RVD choosing TNA or WWE. WWE never used him right. His 1st ppv at invasion with his match against jeff hardy was amazing. Then they made him a shell of himself after that. In TNA the match possibilities are amazing. One huge match with Angle letting them make their own match, omg that woujld tear the roof off the impact zone. A fall count anywhere with samoa joe. A triple threat with any combo of Joe, Daniels, angle, AJ. Any type of match with AJ holding nothing back. Plus sabu maybe coming back with him and bringing some more incredible matches. Taz promoting real ecw and not some 3rd rate crappy show on scyfy trying to make extreme pg. As long as nasty boys Orlando and hall and xpac lose more tv time they might be able to save what they messed up already. Plus we are still waiting on seeing what they do with Hardy. all the right peices are there.
