More Spoilers on TNA’s No Surrender PPV and iMPACT

Posted by Marc Middleton on Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

- The original plan for TNA’s No Surrender pay-per-view was to hold an elimination match with Fortune vs. EV 2.0. The match will instead take place on the September 2nd episode of iMPACT. The decision was made to have the match on iMPACT because The Sandman did not appear at TV this week and the feeling is that TNA is running short on EV 2.0 wrestlers. They were so short on talent for the group this week at the tapings, they put Brian Kendrick with them on Tuesday night.

Here’s what looks to be the final card for No Surrender:

TNA World Title Tournament Semi-Final
Jeff Hardy vs. Kurt Angle

TNA World Title Tournament Semi-Final
Mr. Anderson vs. The Pope

I Quit Match for the TNA TV Title
Tommy Dreamer vs. AJ Styles

TNA X Division Title Match
Sabu vs. Douglas Williams

TNA Tag Team Title Match
Magnus & Desmond Wolfe vs. The Motor City Machineguns

Falls Count Anywhere Match
Rhino vs. Abyss

Handicap Match
Jeff Jarrett vs. Sting and Kevin Nash

Velvet Sky & Angelina Love vs. Madison Rayne & Mystery Woman

if angle loses the match to hardy (which will never happen)
will he be ‘quitting’ or isn’t this a rankingsmatch?
    i hope y’all understand what i’m trying to say… :)

@TheHollywoodHeel I think pope could be considered a homegrown talent since he completely recreated his character and got over in TNA the other three not so much

@Big Daddy Cool same reason cena gets pushed huge draw

anybody who disses jeff hardy and sabu are idiots…i hope sabu wins and brings back the x division..we all know magnus and desmond wolfe won’t win the tag team titles anytime soon..i see samoa joe teaming up with jeff jarrett then turning heel and joining sting and nash then they will feud with fortune and ev 2.0…i think they’re setting up kurt angle vs mr anderson for the tna world title at bound for glory…rhino’s gonna kick abyss’s ass..and hopefully tommy dreamer wins his first title in tna at either no surrender or bound for glory.

I’m thinking they have the finals early and Angle wins the title and defends it against RVD at BFG.

WHY is Joe STILL just lingering in the background. I don’t get it.

Fortune is now oversaturated with random dudes. Douglas Williams? No knock on him, but how does he in any way fit in? At first there was conflict as to who will get into this elite group, now they just said F it, everybodys in. And what exactly is Kazarian’s role in the group? He used to be a wrestler, wasn’t he?

Kendrick in the ECW original group. Wow.
