Oh, but Hogan promised that the ratings would treble, not slightly increase!
I feel more lied to than Luke Skywalker at the end of Empire.

Hulk Hogan should be ashamed! Shows you that the hype was worth nothing! Long live WWE.

So much for the Monday Night Wars. TNA can’t beat WWE ratings with WWE Has-beens. Can we say WCW lost 10yrs ago, Hogan it won’t work again!! They are killing their only hope which is all the great young talent i.e. AJ Styles Samoa Joe etc. AJ Styles needs to come to the WWE and make real money and become the superstar that he is. His talent would spank anyone in the WWE.

The AJ vs Kurt Angle was a great match before the masked baffoon interrupted…

Best wrestlers of all time… Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon

It was a great rating…probably as good as they could realistically expect and more importantly I think it helped make more casual fans aware of the product. It is a shame though because the mindless TNA haters will call it a failure because of the bold predictions but I’ll tell you Hogan knew damn well they weren’t drawing that kind of number. It get’s people talking and that’s why he said it.

I thought they were going to at least get a 2.0. Oh well I guess its time for them all to get drunk and wait for the long slow death. Without ratings means no advertising, without advertising means no money, without money means can’t afford all these bloated salaries. They should all just hang up there boots and then hang themselves.

ratings dont come in 1 night. when hogan went to wcw the red and yellow didnt sell. when hogan turn heel and joined the nwo ratings didnt grow yet either. it was the coming months when word got around and the product was different the ratings came. keep doing what they did mondaynight and tna will become happy with their ratings.
*side note* big mistake on tna’s part of not having another program until next thursday. momuntum will be lost.

I dont think it really matters, what matters is that Hogan got the attention of people who never watched TNA before, including me.
