December 17th iMPACT Rating Breakdown with Jarrett/Dixie and More

- As noted before, the December 17th edition of TNA iMPACT scored an 0.99 rating with 1.4 million viewers.

The segment-by-segment breakdown saw Roxxi vs. ODB gain 85,000 viewers and Matt Morgan vs. Brother Ray in a Lumberjack gain 42,000 viewers to the show’s peak rating of 1.13. Taylor Wilde and Sarita vs. Hamada and Kong vs. Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne lost a surprising 297,000 viewers.

The match with Jay Lethal vs. Tatanka gained 99,000 viewers while the much hyped segment with Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter lost 99,000 viewers. Daniels vs. Desmond Wolfe gained 57,000 viewers while the final segment of the show with Kurt Angle and Jarrett’s meeting plus the Angle, AJ Styles and Tomko vs. British Invasion match lost 113,000 viewers and did an 0.88 final quarter rating.

    so if anything from those numbers its proof that the old wrestlers still improve ratings even on a tiny scale so maybe the Jan 4 show will have some higher then “normal” ratings in segments with hulk etc but thats about it.

    So Dixie Carter doesn’t equal ratings? Wow, who knew? Maybe now we’ll get a break from these self-important segments they’ve been having on Impact hyping the future of the company. Here’s a clue Panda people: No one cares what you want or hope to do, all the matters is what you actually do. Worry about actually making the company better instead of telling us how much better it will be, if you improve your product people will take notice. And if you really want to compete with WWE putting your corporate staff on screen isn’t the way to do it, people have been asking for less McMahon’s on WWE programming for years, don’t start copying their lesser attributes.

    Meh, doesn’t really prove anything other than TNA iMPACT draws the same number as ECW and Superstars.

    for all those who say impact does ecw and superstar ratings well they still btich slap wwe in the uk guess we are just much smarter than Americans cause we like WRESTLING
